70 m² apartment in a barn in Isère.

We live in a quiet, traditional old rammed-earth farmhouse in Isère (which includes the apartment, our house, a barn, and a bread oven). We rent an independent apartment built at the back of the barn with: - on the ground floor, a 35 m² living room (including living room, kitchen and dining room) - upstairs, two large bedrooms and a bathroom. You have a parking space and a private space outside with table and chairs. Very suitable for a family (or 2 couples). The space The accommodation was built 20 years ago in the last part of the barn that once served as a stable; and refreshed 2 years ago. The rammed earth walls are lined with lime-straw and lime-sand plaster. The place remains very cool in summer. It is heated by a pellet boiler in winter. The layout is simple, functional and rustic. The living room is spacious with a small pleasant sitting area for watching TV and a more generous kitchen - dining area. Both bedrooms are spacious. One of them has a large desk. Outside, in a courtyard shared with us, you have a parking space and a dining area right in front of your accommodation. You also have access to the very large wooded garden. Other things to note Linens and towels are included. The property has 2 double beds. If you have a small child, a baby bed can be added as well as a travel cot. We can also add safety barriers on the stairs. Two single mattresses can also be added on request (without bed base). Beyond 4 people we provide an additional charge.
