Rustic River Glamping

If you’re seeking a camping experience that combines nature with a touch of luxury, this is the perfect spot for you! Our property is located along the picturesque Duck River. You can sit back and relax next to the river with the fire going and rod in the water. Bring kayaks for a delightful river adventure. Our incredible property is only 5 minutes from the town of Smithton yet feels like a world away. Pets are welcome. Perfect for couples. The tranquility here is amazing! The space YURT- The yurt is equipped with minimal electricity, including a bar fridge. To ensure you stay cozy, included are electric blankets as well as an abundance of regular blankets - plus enjoy the warmth of a wood fire. CAMP KITCHEN- Nearby you’ll find a camp kitchen with gas cooking and running water. (please note - no electricity in kitchen) it comes fully stocked with all the necessary cooking supplies and breakfast. BATHROOM- You’ll find a wood fired bathtub next to camp kitchen , an a gas shower over bath with views of the river. Directions for shower are in folder, maximum temperature for shower 43 degrees.Along with access to a clean long drop toilet. It takes around 3 hours to heat water for bathing, with keeping fire at consistent heat. You might meet the local on the river too. Barney the platypus! PETS The area is fully fenced in for your furry pets safety🐶. Please remember you are camping with a bit of glamping , so if you don’t mind a bit of “roughing it”, than this is for you! Lovely hampers are available upon request. Guest access You have all the river to yourself. Privacy from neighbours. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE - The area where you will be staying is surrounded by gum trees, I have taken every step to make sure these trees have been looked at by a arborist and trimmed for your safety, the arborist has stated they are healthy trees. Unfortunately I can’t control nature. Our house is located 100meters away ensuring you still have plenty of privacy during your stay.
