Location and Surroundings - 10 minute walk to the Brensholmen/Botnhamn ferry, which you would take to/from Tromsø airport - 20 minute drive to Segla, Hesten, Barden, Keipen, Grytetippen hiking or, in winter, skiing trails - Quiet neighborhood - Easy walk to Joker convenience store and upstairs Cafe. You can get most items you need here..from groceries to household items. The home does contain a separate Airbnb unit upstairs. There are no shared spaces, but as with any multi-unit home, occasional light noise may be heard. Guest access Guests have full and private access to the downstairs apartment. This includes kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom and extra pantry space. This is a completely private, self-contained apartment with its own entrance. The home does contain a separate Airbnb unit upstairs. There are no shared spaces, but as with any multi-unit home, occasional light noise may be heard. Other things to note How to get to Botnhamnveien 832: You can arrive either by flying to Tromsø or Bardufoss. Car rentals are available at both airports. The drive from Tromsø to Botnhamn takes about 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive from Tromsø to Brensholmen (on Kvaløya), which takes about 1 hour. From there, take the ferry from Brensholmen to Botnhamn on Senja (approx. 35 minutes). After to exit the ferry, turn right onto the main road and the house is a short drive on your left. Park either on the driveway or in the pull-out across the street. The entry door is up the driveway in the front of the house. If you choose to drive from Bardufoss Airport, the driving time is about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Public transport: A high-speed boat (Hurtigbåt) from Tromsø to Lysnes (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) takes about 1 hour. From Lysnes, there is a public bus to Botnhamn, where you can just walk to the house. Alternatively, you can take a high-speed boat or the coastal steamer (Hurtigruten) to Finnsnes and rent a car from there. In Botnhamn, you’ll find the grocery store Joker, which also has a small café. Fuel is available nearby as well. Privacy & Parking: This is a completely private, self-contained apartment with its own entrance. Please note that there is a separate Airbnb unit located upstairs. There are no shared spaces, and each unit has its own private entrance. For parking, you are welcome to use the driveway turnout (right in front of the downstairs door) or the pull-out across the street. We are happy to be available if you need anything, but otherwise will respect your privacy completely.
