Set on a vineyard overlooking the River Murray, Nonno's offers peace, tranquility, and no neighbours. Recently renovated, it’s perfect for couples or families. There’s plenty of room for caravans and boats, easy river access, and expansive lawns for cricket and footy. We hope you love our property as much as we do. The space Our family story began in 1927, when Nicola Ricciuto set sail from Italy to start a new life in Australia. His journey took him across the country—from cutting sugar cane in Queensland to running a fruit stall in the Melbourne markets. Eventually, he found his way to South Australia, clearing land by hand with an axe in the Adelaide Hills before an opportunity to pick fruit drew him to the Riverland. It was here that Nicola chose to plant his roots and build a future for his wife Carmelina and their six children. Today, three generations later, that same land remains the heart of our story. Recently renovated, Nonno’s offers a peaceful, neighbour-free escape overlooking the river wetlands. To minimise these getting inside we strongly encourage trying to keep screen doors closed and limit internal house lighting while not in use. We have provided bug repellant adapters to turn on in rooms. Bring your own mozzie spray to make your stay more enjoyable. To avoid bugs when out side, turn on the spotlights to the lawns and turn off the down lights in the verandah and BBQ areas. This should attract the bugs to the outer area. Fire Wood - We can supply extra firewood for an extra fee. Please contact us via the app should you require this.
