Welcome to our newly built, year-round cabin from 2025, which offers a consistently high standard. The cabin is located in a quiet area, within walking distance of both downhill ski slopes and cross-country ski trails. Large window areas and excellent sunlight create a bright and inviting atmosphere, with nature right on the doorstep. The cabin is spacious (approx. 155 m²) and fully equipped for a comfortable and memorable stay – perfect for families with children and for those looking for a peaceful mountain weekend. The space Modern cottage at Gautefall - Perfect for families with children and relaxation. This newly built cabin is located in a newly established cabin area in scenic Gautefall. With a short distance to good fishing opportunities, a common gapahuk and a playground, this is the ideal place for families with children who want a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. Location: - Gautefall alpine: 2 minutes by car, or ski down to the resort - Gautefall ski lodge: 2 minutes by car, where there is a restaurant and bistro. - Treungen town centre: Approx. 15 minutes by car, with grocery store, charging stations for electric cars, petrol stations and swimming area. - Drangedal town centre: Approx. 25 minutes by car, with grocery store, pharmacy, restaurant, petrol station and much more. - Hulfjell Family Park: Approx. 30 minutes by car, farm with various animals and water park. - Bø Summerland: Approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes by car. Guest access Guest access and amenities Guests have access to the entire cabin, with the exception of one bedroom, which is locked for private use. The cabin is spread over two levels and offers spacious and functional solutions: Level 1 features a spacious entrance hall, a laundry room, two bathrooms, a storage room, three bedrooms, and an open-plan living and kitchen area. Level 2 has two bedrooms and its own cosy TV lounge – perfect as a living space for children or teenagers. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in fridge-freezer, oven, combi oven and induction hob with integrated fan, and is ideal for both simple meals and more elaborate dinners. The cabin offers a range of facilities for fun and entertainment, including a billiard table, a selection of board games, free Wi-Fi, Apple TV and a Nintendo Switch. Toys for children and toddlers are also available for use. All rooms, with the exception of the bedrooms on Level 1, have heating cables or heating film. In addition, the cabin is equipped with a heat pump and a fireplace for extra comfort. In bright sunlight, external screens can be used to create a more comfortable indoor climate. Sleeping arrangements The cabin can accommodate a total of 9 people, including a cot: Bedroom 1: Queen-size bed 150 × 200 cm + trundle bed Bedroom 2: Queen-size bed 180 × 200 cm Bedroom 3: Double bed 180 × 200 cm Bedroom 4: Queen-size bed 150 × 200 cm Practical information The tenant is responsible for bringing their own bedding, towels and necessary consumables. (These can be rented by arrangement.) Electric vehicle charging is available by arrangement and for an additional fee.
