La Cabane de Romane is a wooden cocoon bathed in light, with a large glass window opening to the view of Mont Lozère. In the summer, the terrace offers sweet moments in the face of nature. In the winter, the living room becomes a bright refuge to contemplate the mountain. Two bedrooms, equipped kitchenette, spacious bathroom and modern comfort create a great place to unwind. Natural materials, the warmth of wood and the softness of light create a soothing atmosphere from the moment you enter. ☀️ In summer The terrace becomes a privileged place, perfect for enjoying a coffee, sharing a meal or simply contemplating nature. The trees and mountains compose a living picture, and the light glides over the reliefs of Mont Lozère. Every moment of the day has a different color. ❄️ In winter The cabin becomes a bright and comfortable refuge, ideal for admiring the forests and mountains from the inside, well installed in the living room. The large bay window invites contemplation, and the warm atmosphere transformed by the wood perfectly accompanies winter days. 🏡 Indoor space The main room includes a fully equipped kitchenette (induction stove, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishes), a dining area, a comfortable sofa, a small library and a Smart TV for moments of relaxation. Reversible air conditioning ensures pleasant comfort in any season. The cabin offers two soft and welcoming bedrooms: – one bedroom with a 140 cm double bed, – one bedroom with two 80 cm stacked beds, prepared for your stay. 🚿 Bathroom and comfort The bathroom is spacious, bright and pleasant. The toilet is separated for extra comfort. A cordless vacuum cleaner is available to keep the space easily clean. The cabin offers a harmonious balance between modern comfort and immersion in nature, for a soothing and rejuvenating stay. 🌄 Around the cabin Bleymard and Mont Lozère offer a variety of landscapes and activities throughout the year: – panoramic hikes, – Nordic skiing, – snowshoeing, - family walks, - mushroom picking in autumn, – beech, fir and Douglas fir forests conducive to calm and walking. The Stevenson Trail (GR70) crosses the village: a mythical route, imbued with poetry and history, often traveled in the company of donkeys as in Stevenson's time. A few minutes away, Bagnols-les-Bains offers a pharmacy and services useful for your stay. Thirty minutes away, Mende offers all the shops and activities to complete your experience. The surrounding nature creates a real invitation to slowness, simplicity and well-being. Guest access You have access to the entire cabin: the living room, the kitchenette, the two bedrooms, the bathroom, the separate toilets and the terrace during the summer. Parking is located at the entrance to the site, and a path then guides you to the cabin. Check-in is self-contained with the lockbox. Other things to note The Romane cabin offers complete autonomy thanks to its equipped kitchenette. The Carrefour Express du Bleymard, accessible on foot or in a few minutes by car, easily facilitates everyday shopping. From November to March, the village adopts a calmer rhythm and restaurants organize their opening periods according to the season. Mende, 30 minutes away, opens access to all shops, activities and amenities.
