Mondariz-Balneario Spa - famous for welcoming distinguished guests such as Rockefeller in the 1920s, who came to “take the waters.” Within a 10-minute drive, you’ll find a magnificent golf course set in scenic countryside. Next to the course is a friendly riding school where guests can enjoy horse riding through peaceful woodland and meadows. The area is also rich in natural beauty, with river beaches offering crystal-clear water for swimming, sunbathing, and family picnics. Scenic walking paths wind along the river, perfect for peaceful morning strolls or adventurous afternoon hikes. Please note that, during the warmer months, a local member of our housekeeping team visits the garden approximately three times a week to water the large potted plants. The visits are brief, normally take place during the daytime, and do not require entry into the house. We will always try to ensure that this garden maintenance causes as little disturbance as possible.
