Beachfront Stay – Sea, Mountains & Soulful Calm

Welcome to Sjelefred, a cozy and charming apartment just 15 meters from the beach, with a private terrace and panoramic views of the sea and mountains. A perfect place for those seeking tranquility, nature experiences or a base to explore beautiful Vesterålen and Lofoten. Here you can enjoy the silence, the sound of the waves, the warm glow of the midnight sun or magical northern lights in the winter. The space The apartment has a private entrance from the porch with lockbox, free WI-FI, new kitchen, cozy living room with sofa bed, seating area, TV and oil diffusers, bedroom with lovely double bed, large bathroom with shower and washing machine, as well as free parking. Organic basic products in bathroom and kitchen are available for you. You have your own shoreline, perfect for a morning bath, paddle or a quiet moment in the shore. Here you can experience rich animal and bird life, see the seal, the eagle hovering, or try your luck at fishing right outside the door. We also offer rental of bicycles, stand-up paddle boards and hiking equipment during the summer months. In the fall and winter you can lie in the snow and look at the star and the northern sky, which often offers all the colors of the rainbow. Guest access When you stay with us, you have your own parking on the left side of the house (see picture). You enter the apartment on the downside, towards the sea. A fixed living wall, and a retractable living wall indicate the apartment's area from the house and down towards the sea. You are free to use the garden below this area, the beach area, as well as the fire pit. Other things to note Sigerfjord is an idyllic place surrounded by mountains, archipelago, and beach. Here you will find a gas station with a diner, a cozy café with a hairdresser and an interior design store, an art gallery, a coffee roastery, a marina, a beach, a golf course and great hiking opportunities. The area offers rich nature and invites you to everything from quiet moments by the sea to active days of beach life, fishing, paddling or hiking. In the winter, the area turns into a small wonderland, and you can experience the changing palette of the sky and the magical Northern Lights. You can enjoy the silence of the ski trails, go on a mountain hike in the mountains, or try the slalom slope with ski lift at Sortland, which is only 10 minutes away.
