The space Hosted by Chachu and Abraham, Baraka estate & farms embraces regenerative natural farming, focusing on enriching the land by working with nature’s cycles. During your stay you'll be surrounded by lush food forests, vibrant gardens, and diverse wildlife. Witness how we grow fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants—all by nurturing the soil back to life. The space enjoys exceptionally fresh and pure air, a result of our untouched surroundings. We curate our meals meticulously, sourcing ingredients directly from the farm, or locally from trusted partners with the utmost care. We offer opportunities to connect with the landscape. Guests can embark on walks and treks into our estate to experience nature at its best. Beyond the farm, there are also other unique, niche experiences around the region to explore. Additionally, the scenic destination of Munnar is a short, convenient drive away, making it a perfect one-day trip from our property. Guest access You will have exclusive access to your private room and its corresponding amenities. We encourage you to use all of our beautiful communal spaces: Verandas and Lounges: Relax on our open-air verandas, designed for quiet contemplation, reading, and enjoying the garden views. Dining and Pantry Area: You have access to the main dining space and a dry pantry for your convenience. Gardens & Food Forests: You are welcome to walk the designated paths and trails through the gardens, food forests, and surrounding areas of the farm. We want you to feel completely at home and connected to the land while you are here. Other things to note Getting Here: We recommend arriving by taxi from nearby hubs like Kochi (Cochin) or Kottayam. For your departure, we are happy to arrange a return taxi for you with a little advance notice. Please note that while the majority of the drive features excellent roads, the final 2–3 minutes leading directly to the property is a natural mud road drive. Dining Options: We are happy to offer freshly curated lunch and dinner at an additional cost. Given our unique, rural location, dining options in the immediate area are limited. Should you wish to eat outside the estate, we can share a few available options that are a 10–15 minute drive from Baraka Estate. Local Transport: Please note that because of our serene, remote location, public transportation is not readily available. However, we can help you arrange a taxi or scooter rental if you’d like to explore the area independently. Just let us know in advance!
