Riverside Barn, Ribchester

Relax by the riverside with your family and friends within the historic town of Ribchester and have an unforgettable escape. You have the choice of 3 lovely pubs in the village or could make a home cooked dinner within your open plan kitchen diner that opens up into the garden over looking the river as well as your own private sauna and hot tub. The main barn sleeps 10 people but if your party is bigger why not book out Ribble and Hothersall Suites also to add on an extra upto 6 people. The space The main barn has 5 bedrooms, 1 superking, 2 double and 2 twin so can sleep upto 10. The dining table extends and can comfortably seat 10. There is a spacious kitchen and conservatory dining area. A lounge with 2 x 3 seater settees, a chair and bean bags. Extra chair and 2 bean bags in bedrooms also that could be moved into lounge if needed. Games room with 2 smaller light up gaming chairs and 2 lounger gaming chairs. Gated and fenced large garden that sweeps round the back of the house over looking the river. Includes large hot tub and sauna and garden lounge chairs and garden bean bags. Ribble Suite (on profile as separate booking) has a connecting door to the main barn and can be opened up if a larger party. And Hothersall Suite can also be booked on. Ribble Suite has a smaller hot tub in back patio garden. Guest access All main garden and barn Other things to note We ask guests to respect neighbours and keep noise down especially outside after 9pm and before 8am. Hot tub and sauna can be used at anytime, safety guidelines and rules provided at the house. Local Amenities • There is a local shop in the village 7 minute walk away. • 3 pubs within a few minute walk: White Bull, The Ribchester Arms and Black Bull. • The nearest supermarkets is Aldi, Sainsbury’s and Booths in Longridge which is 10 minute drive. • There are roman ruins in the village by the church and a Roman Museum. •. We have a recommended private chef if you want to stay in with the beautiful views and take the stress out. Table with Howard Dingwall I can put you in touch if interested. • The nearest cafes are: Potters Barn which is a few minutes walk away opposite the childrens park; Stydd Café 10 minute walk, The Croft café next to Stydd Café, Brockhall coffee shop 10 minute drive. • If you are wanting to go slightly further afield there some lovely villages and small towns near by with pubs, cafes and restuarants all within a 20 minute drive: Hurst Green, Whalley, Clitheroe, Longridge. View points: Jeffery Hill is a gorgeous spot to watch the sunset and have a walk. Pendle Hill which can be seen from the garden is approx. 35 minute drive. Lytham St Annes is 45 minute drive and has a lovely promenade walk of you are wanting a coast line view.
