3.5 miles from York city centre in a charming village, The Snug is an exceptional base for your city break. Train and bus stations are only 3 minutes walk away, letting you be in York within 10 to 20 minutes. This modern one-bedroom ground floor apartment is adjoined to the host’s main property. It benefits from its own separate entrance, off-street parking and private patio. The village has traditional pubs and picturesque walks. Knaresborough, Harrogate and Leeds are just a short train ride. The space The main room contains a double bed, folding sofa bed, TV and clothes storage. At 11.4 m2, the bedroom is compact, so The Snug is best suited for 2 guests (although accommodate an additional child). The kitchenette/ utility area offers a microwave, airfrier, hob, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, fridge-freezer, sink, washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. The breakfast bar has two comfortable bar stools and doubles up as a workspace. A shower room at the far side of the apartment provides ensuite facilities including a small shower cubicle, powerful shower and freshly laundered towels. Bifold doors from the bedroom open on to a secluded patio area with patio furniture and pleasant foliage. Guests staying for at least two nights will receive a welcome pack containing tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, margarine and biscuits. Check in time is from 15:00. Check out time is 11:00. Depending on bookings, there may be some flexibility. There is a step up to the bedroom from the utility/kitchenette, which may be an issue for guests with mobility needs. The Snug is therefore not suitable for wheel chairs or mobility devices. Due to space restrictions, we would discourage three adult guests from booking. The kitchenette has a connecting door to the main property bolted at both sides to ensure privacy during your stay. Guest access Off-street parking for one car is offered in front of the snug. Parking for an additional vehicle can be agreed in advance.
