Lodge House on Country Estate

Resting on a beautiful country estate, West Lodge is the perfect destination for a family holiday. The property is just a short drive from the coast and is the perfect base for exploring the beaches and hills of Northumberland. It is also a perfect place to bring your dogs on holiday too as there are walks straight from the cottage into the grounds and through the woods adjacent to the historic Preston Tower. Part of the lodge garden is enclosed for dogs. The space The cottage has 2 bedrooms - one either with a kingsize bed or 2 singles and one double. The double room has an ensuite shower room. There is also a bathroom with a bath. The sitting room has an open fire although the cottage has gas central heating throughout. The cottage is all on one floor so is suitable for people who prefer not to have any steps. Other things to note The cottage is very convenient for attending weddings at Doxford Barns, Charlton Hall, Doxford Hall, Newton Hall and Ellingham Hall. Local attractions include Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Bamburgh Castle, the Cheviot Hills and miles of sandy beaches.
