The Mill Barns, a charming countryside retreat

🏡 The Space Welcome to The Mill Barns, a beautifully converted barn, set in the heart of the rural village of Poynton, Shropshire. With traditional oak beams and stylish modern comforts, this home is perfect for couples, families, or small groups looking to escape to the countryside. The barn features an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, and a cosy living room where you can relax after a day exploring the Shropshire hills. A fabulous, spacious and elegant place to stay. The space ✨ Highlights Exposed oak beams with stunning full-height ceilings in the open-plan kitchen / living / dining space. With under-floor heating throughout, you can be sure to be kept warm during your stay, and we also have a large wood burning stove to cosy-up in front of as a focal point of the sitting room - please do bring your own logs. We have a large smart LED TV with streaming channels (Netflix, Amazon) and BBCi-player / ITVx live TV app availability. The WiFi is fast from STARLINK (around 150mbps) so it's great for anyone with any work commitments, whilst staying with us. The property is set in a beautiful and peaceful village setting with countryside walks nearby For the 'foodies', enjoy modern kitchen amenities with an abundance of high quality Neff appliances - dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer plus double oven. More than enough to rustle up some tasty meals. 🛏 Sleeping Arrangements The barn comfortably sleeps 4 guests with 2 king size bedrooms. Both light and spacious bedrooms are designed with comfort in mind, with fresh linens and plenty of storage space. 🌿 Guest Access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire barn. Free parking is available on site for up to 3 cars. 📍 Location Located in the friendly village of Poynton, Shropshire, The Mill Barns is the perfect base to explore local pubs, scenic walking trails, and charming market towns. Whether you’re after a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or a countryside escape, this barn offers everything you would wish for. There is an EV charger - however this is only for use by request and there is a daily charge for this. Guest access Guests will have the use of the whole barn to themselves, including the rear patio space and lawn. The front lawned area including children's play equipment is not for guest use. This is the host's private space. Thank you Other things to note We have a travel cot available for your use and a booster seat that will fit to a chair.
