In winter, the SCHWARZWALD MAIDLE shows its rustic coziness. In the wood-burning stove with integrated pizza oven, the fire crackles, filling the room with pleasant warmth and the scent of fresh wood. Through the large windows, the view falls on the quiet Dove Elbe, where fog drifts dance over the water and nature is shrouded in winter silence. In this atmosphere of warmth, wood and water, a feeling of security arises – a place where you can enjoy the winter to the fullest. The space The SCHWARZWALD MAIDLE is the latest addition to the Hafen Hamburg houseboat and has been on the water since October 2025. Clever furniture, built-in solutions and well thought-out room layout create a sense of space that extends far beyond its dimensions on around 30 m² of living space (plus outdoor areas). Whether you want to relax alone, travel as a couple or seek the still waters with family and friends – here you will find space for retreat and encounters. On the BLACK FOREST MAIDLE you can feel as soon as you enter that sustainability is not just a word here, but a lived atmosphere. The houseboat was made in an ecological timber frame construction – with natural materials that breathe and create a soothing indoor climate. The hull is made of recyclable aluminum, protected by an elegant Douglas fir facade, while inside warm spruce woods and carefully processed surfaces provide security. Thanks to the high-quality wood fiber insulation, it remains pleasantly cool in summer and cozy and warm in winter – without excessive energy consumption. This creates a natural balance between comfort and environmental awareness. Before your arrival, you will receive all the necessary details by email. Other things to note There are 800 liters of fresh water available on the boat, so showers should be kept short. The filled water is drinking water, but since it is stored in a tank, it officially has no drinking water quality - so please bring drinking water. (There is also a drinking water tap on the jetty.)
