Derryleigh is a small country area centrally located and approximately 35km from Killarney, 30km from Mallow and 65km from the nearest city, Cork. The apartment is approximately 2km from the nearest village, Boherbue, which offers a supermarket, pubs and a restaurant. Wisteria Apartment is ideal for a quiet and relaxing stay. Large windows allow natural light to fill the space and offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, both at the front and rear of the property. Guest access The full apartment is available for your exclusive use and enjoyment. You’ll be provided with your own key and have your own private entrance, giving you complete privacy and the freedom to come and go as you please. There are two bedrooms, a double room upstairs and a single room downstairs. Kindly note: access to the bathroom is through the downstairs bedroom only. At the back of the property, beyond the pathway, you’ll discover a lovely garden patio area known affectionately as “The Secret Garden.” This peaceful outdoor space is reserved for our guests and offers a quiet spot to relax, read a book, enjoy your morning coffee, or unwind after a day of exploring. Surrounded by nature and tucked away from the road, it’s a perfect place to take in the fresh country air and listen to the sounds of birdsong. Guests are warmly encouraged to make use of The Secret Garden at any time during their stay—it’s there for you to enjoy in whatever way suits you best. Other things to note The Boherbue Looped Walk is a hidden gem that passes right by the apartment, offering guests a chance to experience the beauty of the North Cork countryside at a relaxed pace. This scenic walking route winds through quiet country lanes, open farmland, and gentle rolling hills, with stunning views along the way. It’s perfect for a peaceful morning stroll or an evening walk to take in the fresh air. Whether you're a seasoned walker or just want to stretch your legs, the looped walk is a wonderful way to connect with the natural surroundings and enjoy the tranquil charm of rural Ireland.
