Sandrik cottage - Štiavnica Mountains

Quiet place , near stream and forest and 2 mountain bike trails. In the 100 years old house lived employee of Sandrik - local factory producing cuttlery . You will pass by the ruins of the factory on your way to cottage. Since May 2018 our family with 3 kids owns the cottage. Its the last house at the muddy road. Just deer and wild boars will be your neighbours. Last 300 m you need to walk from parking area. With 4x4 you can park 20 m from cottage. Dogs are welcome. The space The cottage is suitable for people searching place in nature with basic comfort like in the old times... You can find mushrooms, wild strawberries and raspberries just behind the house. You can use the whole cottage - 3 bedrooms, kitchen, terrace also the outside fireplace. The toilete is classic- latrína (dry toilete near house). Electricity is available for lighting, cooking. Kitchen is equipped for basic cooking. There is wifi in the house, but poor mobile signal inside. First thing you need to do in the morning, is to make fire to heat cottage. You may need to chop wood into smaller pieces, axe is available in storage room. The water comes from spring and water pump brings it to the front of the house. For shower you have to heat water and use the outside shower or inside bathtub. Dogs are also welcome. Guest access We live in Bratislava, we will not be able to assist personally. We will provide you information how to unlock the cottage before you arrive. We will be available by phone during your stay. Other things to note Water is from spring, there is dry toilet (latrine) outside.
