We've added a toaster oven, rice cooker, and various kitchen essentials for your convenience. Families with infants will appreciate our provided pack and play, ensuring a comfortable stay for the little ones. Modern conveniences like a Ring Security system and a new bidet in the bathroom enhance your experience. For your hygiene needs, there's a flat iron available. Fresh linens, including an extra blanket, are provided, and a portable heater ensures your comfort. Please make yourself at home, and remember, there's NO cleaning fee or list of chores. Guest access Upon booking, you'll receive instructions for a hassle-free check-in using a key in a lockbox. Your room, situated on the lower level of our home (one story above street level due to our hillside location), offers a semi-private entrance through the garage leading to your private room and bath. Please be aware that the garage flooring is slightly tilted, which might pose challenges for some guests with mobility concerns. Feel free to contact us for additional information if needed. Your room is equipped with a locking door, and you'll receive a set of keys for the duration of your stay. As your room faces a main street, you may experience city traffic and MUNI noise. If you're traveling with a light sleeper, please consider this aspect. Closing the blackout curtains helps mitigate noise disturbance. Importantly, this isn't a shared living situation; you have a separate in-law unit connected to the garage, and we only share the main entrance, typically during check-in. For your security, there are Ring cameras around the house and garage; however, rest assured, there are NO recording devices inside the unit. Occasionally, you might hear footsteps from our toddler since we live above. He's at daycare from 7:30 am to 5 pm and goes to bed around 8 pm. Regarding the interior, the sitting area is painted grey, and the bedroom is blue/grey. Recent photos reflect these changes, and we plan to update all images soon.
