The space 〇 About the Property This is a two-story detached wooden house. ◆ First Floor ・Bedroom 1：Japanese-style room (approx. 10 m²), carpeted ・Bedroom 2：Japanese-style room (approx. 10 m²), carpeted ・Living room ・Kitchen ・Shower room ・Wash area ・Toilet ・Laundry area ◆ Second Floor ・Bedroom 3：Western-style room (approx. 7 m²), wooden flooring ・Bedroom 4：Japanese-style room (approx. 10 m²), carpeted Bedding: All bedrooms are equipped with Japanese futon bedding. Two futon sets are provided in each room. 〇 Local Information ◆ Sightseeing & Activities You can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery, including Mt. Io (Sulfur Mountain), Lake Mashu, and Lake Kussharo. In summer, activities such as canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and hiking are popular, while in winter, the area offers snowshoe trekking and skiing, among other activities. ◆ Shopping The nearest convenience store is approximately 3 km away, and the nearest supermarket is about 15 km from the property. We recommend purchasing groceries and essentials before arriving. ◆ Bathing Please be aware that the house is equipped with a shower only and does not have a bathtub. As Kawayu Onsen is a well-known hot spring town, many guests enjoy visiting the nearby onsen (hot spring) facilities. *As this is an older home in a natural setting,occasional insects may be present despite regular preventative measures. *The host runs an antique shop just in front of the guesthouse. Some of the furniture inside the house is for sale and can be purchased upon request.
