Our family has cared for this land for generations, and the village remains quiet, private, and deeply connected to its surroundings. It’s normal to see relatives or trusted family friends swimming or fishing. Please feel free to say hi if you'd like. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home, the private beach, the freshwater stream, and kayaks. You’re welcome to explore the nearby walking paths and enjoy the coastline at your own pace. Greenhouses and work areas can be viewed from a distance, but are not open for entry unless a tour has been arranged in advance. ONLY registered Airbnb guests are allowed on the property. No outside visitors are permitted during your stay, including friends or family wanting to join for a day visit or a swim. Violation of this rule may result in a mid-stay cancellation without a refund. If this policy is violated, the booking will be canceled, and the regular cancellation policy will apply regarding refunds. If you’d like to reserve the beach fale or arrange a guided greenhouse tour that includes local history and cultural context, please let us know. These optional add-on experiences are available for an additional fee. Other things to note • This is ancestral family land, and much of what makes it special comes from the people who lovingly care for it. We kindly ask that guests respect the land, as well as the workers, family, and friends who may also be enjoying the area. • Exterior cameras are in place for safety and security. There are no cameras inside the house. • This is a tropical environment, so it’s normal to see geckos, ants, or other small island critters from time to time. Our homes are treated regularly, but nature is simply part of life in American Samoa. • Please keep a close eye on children around the stream and shoreline to ensure everyone’s safety.
