For your security the house is secured with an armed response alarm system. Other things to note In McGregor you are well and truly in the midst of wine country and there wineries virtually on your doorstep. Lords is ~8km on the Road to Nowhere and well worth the drive. Beautifully situated with stunning views. Bemind Wines are 15 minutes stroll from the cottage. Ilse Schutte is the wine maker and runs the place. McGregor Wines, on the road from Robertson, produces tasty wines at reasonable prices. The hiking and Mountain Biking available is excellent and information is in the cottage. Many of the restaurants in town get full on weekends, making a reservation can be an excellent idea. For Super Market purchases it is more reliable to obtain what you need in Robertson.
