Renovated, artistic & fully equipped 70m² flat in the Northern Vosges Park, with a private terrace for morning coffee and a backyard orchard for BBQs. Explore forest paths on foot/bike or the famous Route des Vins, then return to your cozy country setting: a wood burning stove, books, games, smart TV/WiFi, folk instruments or your own tunes on the Bluetooth speaker provided. The space The apartment has an independent entrance and is located on the ground floor of our house. Village church bells will transport you to another time as you appreciate the floral garden and country setting from your outdoor terrace or the backyard orchard, which is available for BBQs and music jams. Ask the locals about the legendary and historic linden tree located next to the campfire- there is a story behind most objects you'll find at Linden and Bluegrass! There is the possibility to freely park several cars or a motor home on site. The apartment is decorated with global and artistic motifs; cultural and historical artifacts from Alsace as well as local art adorn the walls, but also elements from Asia, Africa, and North America are introduced. With our reading nook filled with English, French and German books, as well as our musical wall equipped with five stringed instruments, adults and children can easily while away the time. For your taste buds, bees and apple trees offer you their products for purchase - locally sourced honey and apple juice, all year round. Our water is also mountain sourced...so, delicious. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, a new (Nov 2025) induction hob and microwave. After visiting the Christmas markets in the surrounding villages, imagine enjoying a hearty traditional meal such as raclette or fondue using the machines provided, at a round table for four. There is also a toaster, kettle, and Nespresso machine (coffee, creamer, capsules, tea, sugar, included). When you awake, a colorful view will greet you through the large bedroom window giving way to another garden. This room offers you a unique and somewhat medieval experience with its exposed sandstone walls, fine linens fabricated in the neighboring Vosges mountain region, and wood-frame bed (140x190). A traditional wardrobe and dresser for your belongings as well as an ironing board and baby cot are also at your disposal. The south-facing living room with its wood-burning stove, provides guests with a sofa-double bed conversion option, equipped with sheets and pillows. Along with a reading corner, large Sony smart TV (Netflix, Disney +, ARTE, and Amazon Prime available) and bluegrass folk instruments, you will also find a high quality Bluetooth speaker for your personal use. The bathroom has an adjustable shower and a washing machine. Towels, a towel rack, drying rack, shampoo, soap, and first aid kit are provided. Guest access You will have free access to the entire flat as well as private use of the terrace. The backyard BBQ site is available upon request.
