Description
Beautiful recycled house from 1930 in the Pocitos neighborhood. 8 blocks from the beach! Spacious rooms, wood stove, barbecue, bright and exclusive bathroom for guests. Dreamed for romantic couples, adventurous friends, business travelers and nomadic artists who seek the treasures hidden in the city. Live the experience! The space Decorated with souvenirs from our travels around the world, with noble and antique furniture, Cielito Lindo Celeste is a house with Urumex details: two cultures that converge in the home to fill it with plants, curious objects, flavors and smells of Mexican and Uruguayan food, with spaces to lie down to rest in a hammock, as if you were in the middle of the countryside, but in the heart of Montevideo. 8 blocks from Pocitos Beach, Centenario Stadium and Montevideo Shopping. Public transportation 1 block away, 20 minutes from downtown and old town. Guest access The common areas are: the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom, the backyard with barbecue, the laundry room and a large rooftop to contemplate the sky and the stars. Please maintain order and individual cleanliness out of respect for other guests. Other things to note Montevideo clearly has four seasons: SUMMER (December to March): ideal for beach and carnival. Ice cold beer, barbecues and counting stars in the courtyard. February is the month of the famous Carnival of Uruguay, a beautiful date to be in Montevideo. AUTUMN (April - June): the best time to take pictures, stroll along the beach and visit cafes. WINTER (June - September): We invite you to read next to the wood stove, have hot chocolate or a good mate! Tannat wine is the one! SPRING (September - December): Long live the piemavera! It all starts again! Winter is ideal for staying at home, next to the stove, drinking a good wine and making a roast inside the house. In autumn the whole city turns golden, if you like to take pictures it is the best light. Spring is a shot of energy in Montevideo, we flood the bars and pubs, drink beer, dance and sing.
