Activities throughout the year: ✹ Hiking and cycling – A varied network of marked hiking trails and mountain trails provides great opportunities for both short and long trips. ✹ Cross-country skiing – Right by the cabin you will find well-prepared ski slopes with connection all the way to Beitostølen. ✹ Alpine skiing - Valdres Alpine Center is only 5 minutes away, with slopes suitable for all levels. ✹ Fishing – Several mountain lakes in the surrounding area provide good opportunities for both quiet summer fishing and exciting autumn fishing. ✹ Golf – One of the country's most beautiful golf courses is located 14 km away, idyllically by the lake. In winter, you can enjoy lunch at Koja Panorama at the top station 1060 masl, with stunning views of the mountains. Experience spectacular nature! The cabin is also a great base for day trips to Valdresflye (about 1 hour away) with magnificent views and hiking opportunities, or further into Jotunheimen National Park with famous mountains such as Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen and Glittertind. For daily necessities, the nearest grocery store, Kiwi, is about 15 minutes away. In Leira and Fagernes you will find a wide selection of shops, liquor stores, cafes and restaurants.
