This tiny house is just 30 meters from a quiet dam with lovely views. Nearby, you can visit Hanging Rock Summit Walk, Hanging Rock Lookout, Kyneton Botanic Gardens, and Mount Macedon. Close towns include Maldon, a charming old gold rush town; Trentham, known for its waterfalls and historic Piper Street; and Kyneton, only 10 minutes away, where you can find nice restaurants, shops, and local history. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes. IMPORTANT NOTE: Avalon is located on private property. While you may hear occasional weekday traffic—mostly from locals commuting to work—weekends are generally quiet with minimal vehicle noise. Fire pits are not permitted during the summer fire season due to safety regulations. Guest access Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and its surroundings. Preorders available with 24 hours’ notice: - Two Complimentary bottled water is provided; additional bottles are available for $4 - Breakfast options: cooked meals at our café, or a continental breakfast made with local products - The first bundle of firewood is included with your stay. Additional firewood can be purchased for $20 Other things to note - WiFi is available - No TV facilities - Gas BBQ grill is available - No unregistered guests or visitors allowed - Guests are welcome to cook under the carport - No smoking inside the tiny home, except outdoors - NO CHILDREN ALLOWED: Due to the nearby unfenced dam on the property - Phone Signal: Reception can be unreliable across the area, Telstra has good mobile reception - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED, as we have a resident cat and kangaroos in the area, which can pose a danger to dogs. Guest Advisory - No Fire Pits during the summer fire season. - Do not flush tampons or sanitary pads down the toilet—doing so may cause serious plumbing issues. - For your safety, do not attempt to touch or get close to the kangaroos. They are wild animals and may behave unpredictably. Important note: - Due to its rural location, wildlife and insects may be present - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
