Large bi-fold doors open to a spacious deck where you can soak up sunshine and stunning views of Mt Karangahake. Inside, a tranquil bedroom with a queen-size bed offers beautiful views, while a kitchenette, cosy lounge area, and deluxe bathroom complete the interior. When night falls, enjoy a glass of bubbles in the outdoor stone bath under a star-filled sky. Hidden Springs invites you to slow down and disconnect — there’s no TV or internet, just birdsong, babbling brooks, and a fern-fringed hammock for lazy afternoons. A designated firepit area is the perfect spot to toast marshmallows or share a wine at the end of the day. If you’re keen to explore, the cabin is a 5-minute drive to Waikino, with the Falls Retreat Bistro and the historic Waikino Tavern close by. Waihi Beach, Owharoa Falls, Dickey Flat, and the famous Karangahake Gorge walk and tunnel are all within easy reach. Designed to be inclusive, Hidden Springs features a wheelchair ramp plus a fully accessible kitchen and bathroom. Other things to note Mobile phone reception is limited at the cabin, you will find better coverage up the driveway. Please note fire pit use is dependent on the time of year and wind conditions, and at certain times of the year will be unavailable due to higher than normal fire risk.
