Hazel Retreat can accommodate up to 7 guests, with a maximum of 6 adults. The 3 bedrooms comprise a king bed, a trio bunk with a double on the bottom and single on the top (top bunk suitable for children only), and a double bed. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided, and guests can bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea-towels, or choose the optional linen hire option available through the Country Getaways office. The bathroom has 2-way access and includes a bath, walk-in shower and vanity, with a hairdryer supplied for guest use. There is a separate toilet, plus a second toilet located by the laundry for convenience. Hazel Retreat has reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in the living area, master bedroom and trio bedroom, with wall-mounted fans in the double and trio bedrooms. The spacious open plan living area comprises the lounge, dining and kitchen, with patio access from the lounge room leading to the rear yard. The lounge has comfortable sofa seating, a large television with USB and HDMI ports, BluRay player, plus PlayStation game console for family game nights. Hazel Retreat has a well-equipped kitchen including an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, coffee plunger and large fridge with freezer on top, along with a range of kitchen appliances such as a kettle, 4-slice toaster, slow cooker, electric frypan and blender. For longer stays, the laundry at Hazel Retreat is fitted with a top load washing machine, iron and ironing board. Outside, there is an undercover entertaining area with outdoor seating and dining, plus a Weber charcoal barbecue for alfresco cooking. The fenced rear yard has a fire pit with bench seating surrounding it, where guests can relax and enjoy evenings together. Guests need to bring their own firewood and observe local fire regulations. Pets are welcome inside at Hazel Retreat by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay. The holiday house has off-street driveway parking for 2 cars, with street parking for boats and trailers. Located just a 20-minute walk or a short drive to the Moonta Bay beach, Hazel Retreat is close to all the attractions of this family-friendly destination. The property is within easy reach of the Moonta Bay jetty, Splash Town water park and the popular sandy swimming beaches. Within a short drive, visitors can explore the heritage charm of Moonta's main street with its cafés, bakeries, hotels and shops, or take in the mining history at the Moonta Mines National Heritage Area. Nearby Port Hughes offers another family-friendly swimming beach and a popular jetty for fishing and crabbing. Further afield, Wallaroo is within a 30-minute drive and offers additional shopping, dining and experiences along the northern Yorke Peninsula coastline. ABOUT YOUR BOOKING AND YOUR HOST, COUNTRY GETAWAYS HOLIDAY RENTALS: The Country Getaways Holiday Rentals office is located in Maitland (South Australia) and is open is 9am- 4pm Monday to Friday. As part of making your booking, you agree to the terms & conditions of stay. Country Getaways Holiday Rentals will require credit card details after making your booking and prior to key details being given. **Please note that a refundable security bond (called a security deposit by Airbnb), which is minimum $300 is payable direct to the host (by credit or debit card only) before access to accommodation is granted (which is in line with Airbnb hosting policies for API connected listings.) The office is contactable via phone or email, for information regarding your booking. Bonds are refunded within 14 business days of departure, and following the report from the cleaner. Alternatively, Country Getaways has an after-hours support number available for guests that require immediate assistance. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: All properties are fully self-contained; however personal requirements and consumables are not supplied. Whilst some properties may have minimal quantities of toilet paper, washing powders & detergents, and soap; it is expected that guests will bring their own items for the length of their stay. Generally, nothing is provided in the way of food items. Guests need to bring their own tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and other food stuffs.
