Quiet, cosy Dble Rm with En-suite, Bourton-o-Water

Planning a visit to the heart of the Cotswolds? Why not come stay a night or 2 at our peaceful home. Ideally placed on the edge of Bourton, we're well located for lovely villages: Slaughters, Stow. Moreton etc. We offer a cosy double rm w. private ensuite + complimentary coffee/tea, fruit + snacks to start the day. Plus FREE parking / wi-fi and the warmest of welcomes! Check-in: Usually after 4pm* Check-out: By 10.00-10.30 am *Earlier Check-in OR Bag drop is sometimes possible. Pls ask🙏 The space 🏡 Our place is on a quiet residential street on the edge of Bourton village, almost as close to Lower Slaughter as the crow flies. We're close enough to the village centre and all its amenities but far enough away to offer a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle on busy summer days. It's just a 2 minute drive into the heart of the village or an easy 12-15 minute stroll if you prefer to walk. The room is on the 1st floor and is a standard double. It has a double bed (59"/150cm width) with a private en-suite. It looks out onto fields and is a peaceful space. It also benefits from a black out blind, which is helpful in the lighter summer months - and there's a wardrobe for storage. Towels and basic bathroom amenities (soap & body wash only) are provided for guests as standard so there's a little less to pack for a short trip :) Wi-fi is free to use with fast broadband. Parking: We are fortunate to have free VISITOR parking spaces located right at the front of the house. However, on the occasional day thatthose spaces are occupied, please ask us re: an option to park on our drive. Food & drink: ☕ Complimentary tea/coffee, fruit and snacks are provided downstairs at breakfast time and are set out for guests in the kitchen-dining room area. Please note: 👩‍🍳Use of the kitchen and facilities, outside of this time are NOT generally included and we respectfully ask that takeaways / meal deals etc are not brought back to the house or consumed in the room. If you have special requirements, please just advise us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate where we can. Local eateries: 🍽The local villages all have a good range of eateries, pubs and the like. You can usually find hot food well into the evening most nights of the week and there are an array of cafes in the village that open in a morning for those seeking a cooked breakfast etc. General: 🌏 Having travelled a fair bit ourselves and lived overseas for work, we enjoy hosting international visitors just as much as those coming from closer to home here in the UK. We look forwards to welcoming you! Guest access We aim to be as flexible as possible when it comes to requests for an earlier bag drop or check-in. Our STANDARD Check-in window is: FROM: 4pm Thru until around 9.30 pm. We can sometimes accommodate an early or late arrvial but this is on a case by case basis. We work away from home some days - and also have animals (a horse) to care for. We will do our very best to help when we can but a little flexibility on both sides goes a long way :) During your stay We're always happy to help with suggestions for places to eat, places to visit or walking routes etc and have maps and guide books that you are welcome to borrow while you are here. Please just ask :) We work from our home office some days so, if we are in, we can be to hand to ensure you're comfortable and have what you need - but discreetly so in order to give our guests privacy during their stay here. Other things to note Check-in + bag drop off: Check-in is typically mid to late afternoon but we are also happy to accommodate later arrivals through to around 9.30 pm. Please PROVIDE AN ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRVIAL in advance so that we can be sure to be at home to welcome you and provide keys, show you the room etc. An early bag drop can usually be arranged IF we are at home on the day of your arrival. We work some days and also have animals to care for so this will really depend on the date/time you estmate getting here. We'll certainly do our best to help when we can. Please just ask :) Check-out: Is standard 10 am with some flex to latest 10.30 am. Private Home, Private Host + Priced Accordingly We aim to offer good value for the area and reflect the level of service we are fairly able to provide our lovely guests. In the main, we are an adult only property as we are not really set up to accommodate young children or infants at present. Pets: We have a pet cat and mention this here as some people have fur allergies etc. It also means we can't accommodate other animals in the house - sorry.
