Cozy, modern apartment for 4 people in an old farmhouse under thatch / half house with large garden and sauna Other things to note In a thatched farmhouse with a half-timbered gable from 1934, which was completely modernized in 2025, we offer you two comfortable apartments for four or six people on a 5,000 m² property. Both apartments have been renovated with natural materials: cellulose and hemp insulation, clay plaster on the interior walls and wooden floors. The rooms as well as the outdoor facilities are very spacious, so that even in winter an indoor holiday feeling is guaranteed Both apartments / halves of the house have a separate entrance and extend over two floors. There are four parking spaces available on the premises. The Hans-Jürgen apartment has a living area of 105 sqm and can accommodate 4 people. There are two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds. The living-dining room is spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace in front. There is a cozy sofa corner and armchair in front of the flat-screen TV as well as a large dining table. The modern kitchen is separated from the living area by a wide sliding door. It is comfortably equipped with modern appliances and impresses with its simple elegance with white fronts and lots of wood. The spacious bathroom offers a floor-to-ceiling glass shower, sink and toilet. There is also a second bathroom with shower and toilet. WiFi is available. In the outdoor area there is a barrel sauna with relaxation room for shared use. There is a lockable bicycle shed with power connection Children and pets are welcome. Please note that additional fees apply for pets. For a pet, we charge an additional €10.00 per night as well as a one-time pet cleaning fee of €25.00 The village of Schwarbe-Siedlung is located in the north of the island of Rügen on the Wittow peninsula. It consists of only a few similar houses, surrounded by fields and horse paddocks. The Baltic Sea is only a ten-minute walk away! In the village there is the riding and driving club Kap Arkona, there are horses for young and old. One of the most beautiful cycling trails in Rügen leads directly past the house. You can always cycle along the cliffs to Cape Arkona or to the north beach, which is one of the most beautiful on the island, without even touching a road. Bicycles can be rented at the Uthess bicycle rental in Altenkirchen. The Baltic Sea is only a ten-minute walk from the house. You go directly over the grounds of the riding stable past the jumping arena. A trail leads you between horse paddocks to the Schwarbe. The Schwarbe is a mighty beech forest that was planted directly on the coast in the 1930s to protect against erosion. Through this forest you will reach the Müllerschlucht. The gorge leads directly to the stone beach. Turn left and reach the north beach after a few hundred meters. If you shy away from the path over the stones, turn left at the Müllerschlucht and follow the steep coast to a staircase that leads directly to the powdery Nordstrand beach. We also recommend this route to cyclists. It leads you through the coastal forest. Here the steady sea breeze has made the white beeches grow in the most bizarre forms. Locals call this piece of forest the Fairy Forest. Here you can experience wonderful sunsets.
