Hello, we are your hosts - Amber & Chris. We've put a lot of care into creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional for up to two guests. The guest room & snug are light and beautiful spaces, with views over the stunning south facing garden. Perfectly located for - Southmead Hospital MOD Airbus Rolls Royce University of Bristol UWE Memorial Stadium Cribbs Causeway Bristol City Centre Durdham Downs (Festivals/Events) NB - We no longer accept bookings ‘on behalf of’ The space The property is a detached 1950's house, in the quiet and safe area of Henleaze, Bristol. Our house is easily accessed from either end of the road. Parking on street is free with no restrictions. On occasion, you can use our driveway with prior consent, especially if you have an EV - which you can charge via additional cost. You can book via the Co-Charge App. We have a 7.2kW Ohme Charger. Bright, sunny house where guests can drink a glass of Prosecco or have a coffee in the garden during the summer. CCTV cameras and a Ring doorbell are fitted around the exterior of the house for your safety. Guest access Guests can self check-in to our property, if we are not home. Guest room This room has a double bed with memory foam mattress, Egyptian cotton sheets with soft pillows (alternative firm pillows in the wardrobe/drawer underneath). Ample storage in both the wardrobe and chest of drawers. You will also find USB-C and USB-A Sockets either side of the double bed, for your convenience. The snug (next to guest room) This room is for your sole use throughout your stay. You will find a television, tea, coffee, hot chocolate making facilities and biscuits. Bathroom (next to the snug) This room is for your sole use throughout your stay. Fresh Towels are provided on the heated towel rail. Utility room - access to microwave. Garden - gate access to rear garden where you will find a seating area on decking. Henleaze is a prestigious area of Bristol and the Henleaze High Street is 5 mins walk from the house where you will find cafes, supermarkets and two super pubs which serve great food. 15 mins walk away is a local cinema (Orpheus - Scott Cinemas - Westbury Park) There are many local bus routes into Bristol City Centre - You can take the 1, 2, 2a, 13 or 73 bus to get to the centre within 30-45 minutes. The bus stop is a short 5-6 minute walk away. The centre is also a 15 minute car drive away. There are multiple buses you can take to UWE or University of Bristol, (from the same stop) - 30 mins bus to University of Bristol 40 mins bus to UWE You can also use Dott Scooters or their E-bikes via their app - 21 minutes to UWE 17 minutes to University of Bristol / Bristol City Centre During your stay You will find our telephone numbers and shared email address in the Guest Information Guide, kept in the guest room. Other things to note Just so you know, we are sharing the house with our lovely small dog who is a friendly and gentle Cavachon. She is generally not allowed upstairs so please keep the stair gate closed. We also have three friendly cats - Luna, Belle and Willow. Willow is a young Tabby kitten and therefore is not allowed outside. Please do not let her out. Luna & Belle are allowed upstairs, and are allowed outside, so do not worry if they follow you out. They have a cat flap to get back in. 😊 Our dog is hypoallergenic and our cats are not allowed in guest spaces, unless you wish to invite them in! The kitchen is not available, but there are coffee/tea making facilities (including a Nespresso machine) a mini fridge and crockery/cutlery/glassware/corkscrew in The Snug which is for your sole use. Please eat in The Snug (or the garden if you prefer on a sunny day) if you get takeaway food. Washing up liquid, a sponge and cloth are provided in your bathroom storage for cleaning the crockery/cutlery etc. As the carpets are pale coloured upstairs, guests are very kindly asked to remove shoes for upstairs wear only.
