Whimsical and unique lakeside cottage with sauna

If you are looking for a peace of mind and need a getaway place with personality, this cottage is just for you. This absolutely charming and unique cottage has vintage interior and warm, relaxing atmosphere. The cottage has a big yard, traditional Finnish sauna by the lake, a jetty and a private beach. There is a fire pit for campfires and barbequing on the shore and a gas grill on the terrace of the cottage. The boat is also included in the rent. The space This unique, vintage cottage is situated by a lake, surrounded by beautiful nature. The traditional Finnish wooden fence surrounding the yard, the stone wall and the stairs leading to the forest have been passed down from the older generations. The cottage is perfect for romantic getaway, nature lovers and family holidays. The shore is ideal for both adults and children because of the sand bottom and gradual slope. Guest access This absolutely charming cottage, the yard and the lakeside sauna are all yours: Downstairs is open space with a kitchenette, two dining tables, a traditional fireplace, a single bed, a bunk bed and a bathroom. Upstairs there are four single beds, a balcony perfect for breakfast overlooking the lake, as well as the seating area with TV. There are swings for kids at the yard of the house, a fire pit for campfires and barbequing on the shore and a gas grill on the terrace of the cottage. The traditional Finnish sauna is located by the lake. Near the house there is a shed for firewood. The boat is also included in the rent. Other things to note Final cleaning and linen aren't included in the cost. You can do the final cleaning yourself as there are equipments and detergents for cleaning at the cottage,or you can buy the final cleaning from us, that is 120 euros. You can bring the linen (sheets and towels) yourself or book from us, that is 15 euros/person. Please notice also, that here in Finland we don't use our outdoor shoes inside the house: so when inside, take your shoes off, thank you. You need a car to come and go as this is a rural getaway in the heart of beautiful countryside, by a lake You can take max 2 housetrained dogs with you but please rememeber, that they are not allowed to sleep on the sofas/beds. Remember to keep your dogs on the leash when walking the village roads. You also have to bear in mind that you as the owner are responsible for all the damages the dog might cause during your stay.
