Pool open Sep-Apr The space The Home Banksia House is a spacious four-bedroom home designed for relaxed stays with family and friends. One bedroom is located downstairs, with the remaining bedrooms and main living areas upstairs - perfect for multi-generational groups or families wanting a bit of separation. Sleeping The home sleeps up to eight guests comfortably, with three queen bedrooms and one room with two single beds. We've invested in quality mattresses, hotel-grade bedding, and a selection of pillows so everyone sleeps well. Three bedrooms have ceiling fans, with a portable Dyson fan in the fourth. Split-system air conditioning is available in the master bedroom, one additional bedroom, and the main living and dining areas. Living, Dining & Kitchen The open-plan living room offers generous seating for all guests, while the dining table seats eight for shared meals and game nights. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: full-size fridge, induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods. Wireless charging stations are available throughout, and we provide both bath towels and pool towels. Outdoor Living The expansive deck and covered outdoor dining area are where you'll spend most of your time. The private pool (open September-April) is unheated but glorious during the warmer months - deep enough for swimming, perfect for cooling off after a day exploring the Hunter Valley. Multiple seating zones on the deck mean some can relax with a book while others prepare lunch, and the kids splash in the pool. Location Surrounded by greenery and backing onto reserve land and parks, you'll feel a world away from everyday life. Kangaroos are regular visitors at dusk, and kookaburras provide the morning soundtrack. Walking and bike tracks are accessible from the property, with shops, gyms, and town amenities just a short drive away. The Hunter Valley wine region is approximately 20 minutes by car - perfect for day trips to cellar doors, restaurants, and local attractions. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the entire home during their stay, including all indoor living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, outdoor deck, and pool. On-site parking is available for multiple vehicles. Please note that a small pantry storage area and linen cupboard are locked for owner use. Nearby parks and reserve areas behind the property can be accessed on foot for walking, bike riding, and outdoor exercise - perfect for morning walks with wildlife spotting. Other things to note The pool is not heated and is available seasonally. Pool is closed from 1 May until the second week of September each year. The home is located close to town amenities, which may mean occasional street noise at times. The main bathroom does not currently have a power point. Children must be supervised around the pool all times. Wildlife is common in the area, including kangaroos in nearby reserves. Registration Details PID-STRA-87550
