The space Come and discover this beautiful Burgundy stone house, located just 2 hours and 20 minutes from Paris and only 20 minutes from the A6 motorway (Avallon exit No. 22). All essential amenities are available just 5 minutes away by car in Quarré-les-Tombes, where you will find a bakery, pharmacy, grocery store (Proxy), butcher shop, bars, restaurants, gas station, catering service, chocolate shop, and more. In Avallon (20 minutes by car), you will also find several large supermarkets such as Super U, Lidl, Aldi, and Intermarché. Our countryside home, fully renovated with great care, becomes a holiday rental when we are not staying there ourselves. It can accommodate up to 8 guests and has been designed to offer everyone a relaxing and convivial stay. Ground floor A fully equipped open-plan kitchen featuring: refrigerator-freezer, oven, induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, raclette machine, stone grill, blender, ice bucket, and more. A dining area with a large table that seats up to 8 guests, as well as a wood-burning stove. Firewood is provided for cozy evenings by the fire. A living room with a large corner sofa. A television with all French TNT channels and an Android box are available so you can log in with your own accounts and enjoy your favorite series. High-speed fiber internet is available throughout the house via Wi-Fi. Two small alcoves with plenty of board games, children’s puzzles, and books are also available. A bathroom with toilet, including a shower cabin with integrated shower column, sink, and storage space. A garage (no car parking inside) with a laundry area: washing machine and dryer available free of charge. The garage also includes: a ping-pong table with 6 paddles bicycles for the whole family 2 adult bikes 1 teenage bike 2 children’s bikes scooters A fitness area is also available with a treadmill, rowing machine, and elliptical trainer. Upstairs Bedroom 1: One queen-size bed (160x200 cm), dresser, and clothing rack. Bedroom 2: Two bunk beds (90x200 cm) (suitable for adults as well) and a dresser. Bedroom 3: One queen-size bed (160x200 cm), large wardrobes for storage. Also includes a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a dedicated workspace with a desk for remote work. Mezzanine: A sofa bed (140x200 cm) can accommodate two additional guests. A separate toilet and sink are also located upstairs. Between the Easter holidays and October holidays, we prepare the terrace for the season so you can fully enjoy it. You will find: table and chairs sun loungers barbecue a large hot tub that can accommodate up to 6 people Footballs, basketballs, a cornhole game, and a target with a bow and suction-cup arrows (suitable for children) are also available. LINENS Bed sheets and towels are provided (2 towels per person: 1 large and 1 small). Beds are made before your arrival. Outdoor area 3,000 m² of unfenced land available at both the front and back of the house. Parking spaces are available on the side of the house. HEATING Electricity Wood Pellets A minimum temperature is maintained day and night by radiators. In addition, the house includes two stoves: 1 wood-burning stove in the dining area (wood included) 1 pellet stove in the living room (1 bag of pellets provided per rental day) Perfect for cozy evenings during cooler weather. Electric vehicle charging Charging is not included in the rental price, and standard household outlets are not suitable. Charging stations are available in Quarré-les-Tombes (5 minutes away). Welcome You will be warmly welcomed by my parents, who live just 50 meters from the house. A key box is also available for self check-in.
