Originally built in the 1800’s as a fisherman’s cottage, this charming cottage has three bedrooms (one king and two twins, one twin is ensuite), a family bathroom, and a cosy lounge with a woodburner. The fully equipped kitchen has seating for six and a woodburner. Enjoy the snug’s sea views, or relax outside in the waterfront seating area just a metre from the waves—perfect for spotting dolphins and relaxing by the sea. The cosy living room is filled with natural light and offers comfortable seating for four. A wood burner creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, while the large TV and Xbox make it perfect for relaxing evenings in after a day exploring the coast. The snug provides an additional relaxing space with two large recliners and lovely views of the sea — ideal for unwinding with a book or a quiet coffee. Two steps down lead into the well-equipped kitchen. It includes a washer dryer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine. There is also a wood burner in the kitchen, along with electric heating throughout the house to keep things warm all year round. The three bedrooms are calm and comfortable, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, while the other bedrooms each have two single beds. One of the twin bedrooms also benefits from its own ensuite. As a fisherman’s house the ceilings upstairs are low so care needs to be taken. There is a family bathroom with a bathtub and shower, ideal for relaxing after long coastal walks. Outside, enjoy sea air, beach walks straight from the door, and easy access to local shops, cafés, and coastal paths. The area is perfect for swimming, rock pooling, cycling, wildlife spotting, or simply sitting and watching the tides roll in. Keep in mind that as with many old fisherman houses the internal stairs are very steep and this house isn’t suitable for anyone who has difficulty going up and down stairs. Children also need to be reminded to take care. Both bathrooms are upstairs. We kindly ask that dogs are kept off the sofas and out of the bedrooms at all times, and that owners clean up after them both inside and outside the property. Thank you for helping us keep the house comfortable and clean for all guests. Both bathrooms are upstairs, there is not a downstairs toilet/bathroom. The stairs are very steep and not suitable for anyone who may have difficulty going up and down stairs. There are also two steps between the kitchen and living room.
