A villa surrounded by greenery and offering complete privacy, located in the village of Vezio, just a few minutes' drive from Varenna. Varenna can be reached on foot via the Sentiero del Viandante (Wayfarer's Path) located just below the villa. It takes 20 minutes downhill, or about 30 minutes uphill, depending on your fitness level. I do not recommend it for those with limited mobility. The villa is equipped with every comfort. Spread over three levels, the ground floor features a bathroom with shower and a laundry room with a dryer and washing machine. On the first floor, there is a study with a single bed without a door, a living area with a fireplace and a double sofa bed, a bathroom with a tub/shower, a dining room, and an open-plan kitchen. The entire first floor overlooks a splendid 1,000-square-meter garden with a stone barbecue, a table for outdoor dining, and a view of the lake. On the second floor, there is a double bedroom and an anteroom with a French-style sun lounger. The entire second floor opens onto a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake, perfect for sunbathing. Please note: The house is accessible only on foot from the parking lot, a short 500-meter walk. I recommend comfortable shoes and light luggage. In the village of Vezio, you'll find a restaurant and two bars. At the castle (about a 10-minute walk away), you'll find another dining option, as well as a wonderful experience. Villa Caterina recommends "LA SERRA BISTROT," a restaurant within the Agriturismo Castello di Vezio, just a few meters away. As our guests, you'll receive a 10% discount.
