19th century farmhouse in the heart of Provence with pool

Our house is located in the town of Caderousse, close to the largest tourist sites in Provence. The farmhouse is set on a very large 5000 m2 property with a large heated pool, and a terrace with arbor. The house, with an area of 175 m2, has been completely renovated and is perfectly equipped. It has 4 large bedrooms (sleeps 8), two bathrooms, a living room with fireplace, a dining room and an equipped kitchen. The space Our house is located in the town of Caderousse, close to the biggest tourist sites in Provence: - Orange, its Roman theater and its Chorégies (10 min), - The most famous vineyards of the southern Rhône Valley (Châteauneuf-du-Pape - 10 min, Gigondas and Vacqueyras - 30 min), - Avignon, its episcopal city and its festival (30 minutes), - Pont du Gard (30 minutes), - The "Wave Island" Water Park (30 minutes) and the "Wam Park" nautical base (15 minutes), - The Gorges de l'Ardèche (35 min), - Mont Ventoux which can be seen from the garden (45 min), - The Mediterranean (1 hour)... - But also Nîmes, La Camargue, Le Luberon, Les Alpilles, Les Baux de Provence... The farmhouse is set on a very large 5000 m2 plot, perfectly maintained (automatic watering in summer). You will find more than 100 rose plants, olive trees, about fifty fruit trees including fig, cherry, apricot, plum trees... The large swimming pool (10*5) benefits from complete recent equipment (electric roller shutter, stone pool tower, outdoor shower, autonomous robot, inflatable games, deckchairs, swing...). To entertain or relax, you will also find in the garden a tree house, hammocks, a ping pong table, a trampoline, a basketball hoop and various outdoor games (Mölkky, petanque balls, racket games...). For outdoor dining, you can have a gas BBQ and full garden furniture (2 large tables with 10-12 seats + a lounge for aperitifs). The house is south-facing, depending on the outside temperature, you can choose to have your meals on the large terrace in the shade of an arbor or under the fig trees... Inside, the air-conditioned house, with an area of 175 m2, has been completely renovated and its equipment is equivalent to that of a primary residence. In the laundry room, you will have access to a washer/dryer and a wine cellar. The kitchen, open to the dining room, is bright and perfectly equipped (ceramic stovetop, dishwasher, fridge, large quantity of dishes...). The large bright living room, with exposed beams, opens onto the garden. It has a large fireplace and leads to a first large bedroom (160 cm double bed) recently renovated. In the living room, you will find the following equipment: Wi-Fi (high-speed fiber), sofas and armchairs for 8 people, coffee table, TV, DVD player, board games… The ground floor also consists of a bathroom (walk-in shower, toilet and sink) facing north with a small window overlooking the fields. A beautiful Japanese staircase leads to the floor, where there are 3 large bedrooms, completely renovated in a different style; they benefit from new bedding and all overlook the garden. Separate toilets and plenty of storage are available and intended for your own use. One of the 3 bedrooms has a water point in addition to the bathroom, bright and open (shower and double sink). All bedroom windows are equipped with mosquito nets. Layout of the beds on the floor: 1 bedroom with a double bed 160 cm, one bedroom with two beds of 90 cm (can be joined), one bedroom with bunk bed (200 * 90 cm). The rental comes with the following services: bed linen and towels provided, cleaning included, preparation of your stay beforehand, welcome basket… Here’s what to know: - This is a family home intended for travelers wishing to enjoy peace and quiet, as such, parties are prohibited and it is essential to respect the tranquility of the premises, - Pets are not allowed, - The staircase serving the floor is a Japanese staircase, so great caution will be necessary for families with small children, - The house is air-conditioned and each room has a fan. - All windows are equipped with mosquito nets, which is very convenient, however, care should be taken with their use, - The pool is perfectly secure (electric roller shutter that can support a weight of 50 kg) but its use remains the responsibility of adults in the presence of young children. - a security deposit of 1000 euros in French check or cash will be required upon arrival and will be returned if no damage is found. We have owned this house for a few years, to which we are very attached. We're working to maintain it regularly so that it remains as pleasant as ever.
