Peaceful accommodation near the sea

Welcome to a pleasant accommodation in Hörte with liberating views of Söderslätt and with the horizon of the sea as a backdrop. A short detour from the coastal road up along Sweden's southernmost deciduous forest leads here to the property. Welcome. The space This is a peaceful place in the countryside with lots of sky, views of fields and the horizon - and with a rich birdlife. The accommodation is bright and airy, measuring just under 40 m² (431 sq. ft.), with a patio and its own entrance. In the bright room downstairs (which is open up to the roof ridge) there are two single beds (90x200), a dining table and chairs for four, two armchairs and a TV (Chromecast). There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with a simple stovetop (oven & two burners), microwave, kitchen hood, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchen utensils, glasses and porcelain. A steep but steady staircase leads up to the loft with a small gable window. The loft is furnished with two single beds (à 80x200), bedside table and reading lamps. You can close a gate around you towards the stairs. A tiled bathroom with underfloor heating and opening window is housed under the loft. In the bathroom there is a shower, toilet and sink. The deck has west and south facing position. Here you can have meals outside if you wish. During the summer months, there are tables and seating for four people here, as well as an outdoor grill. Two sun loungers invite you to sunbathe if the weather permits. Next to the fence, you can curl up with a good book or perhaps gaze out over the fields towards the horizon and listen to the birdsong. On the lawn in front of the house there is room for play and games. There is also a bike rack with four used bikes to borrow. Bike keys, tools for adjusting saddle height and bike pump are in the property. The car park is located on the plot opposite the guest house. Bed linens and each their shower towel are included in the rental price. Toilet paper and soap are available as is shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You clean yourselves - and are responsible for leaving the place in the same condition as when you arrived. Waste sorting for paper, plastic, glass and metal is available at the parking lot. For other household waste and for compost, there are containers along the road next to the mailboxes. This is a peaceful place and suits you who appreciate just that. Partying parties are avoided. Quiet hours are respected between 23:00 - 07:00 for everyone's well-being. THE SURROUNDINGS You bike down to Hörte harbor in a few minutes. In the summer, a popular wine bar, Hörte Brygga, operates here. Here you can also take the bus that runs between Ystad and Trelleborg (see Skånetrafiken for the schedule). 2.5 km east of the accommodation is the fishing village Abbekås with the Bongska house, a year-round open nook where you can also have coffee or buy home freshly baked. There is also a swimming jetty for the carved. Ten minutes by car towards Ystad you will find a real pearl: lovely Mossbystrand sea bath with a pier-like jetty and a long white sandy beach lined with lush vegetation. 15 km in the direction of Trelleborg is Sweden's southernmost cape, Smygehuk, and on our way there, we recommend a lifesaver stop at Beddingestrand. Beddingestrand has an inviting white sandy beach with swimming jetty, and the exciting beach house with cafe, food, wine bar, shop and "Bistro Saltarv" - don't miss! Kind regards from the host couple
