We are located in the heart of the historic center of Guarene, just a 10-minute drive from Alba, nestled among the hills of Roero and Barbaresco, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our early 20th-century house, renovated in 2025, is spread over two floors. The first floor features two bedrooms with private bathrooms at the ground floor, the fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room. The highlight is the beautiful private garden with a view over the Langhe and Alba. Private parking is available. The space The early 20th-century house was renovated in 2025. In some rooms, the period ceilings with exposed beams were preserved, and modern furnishings with clean lines were chosen. We retained the layout of old country houses and some characteristic features, such as the crutin (where bottles of wine and food were stored) and the well in the living room. The beds are comfortable and spacious (king-size in one bedroom, 160x200 in the other), each bedroom has its own bathroom, and for relaxing outdoors, there is a large garden overlooking the hills of Barbaresco and Alba. Other things to note Guarene is located in the heart of the production areas of some of Italy's finest wines, particularly Barolo and Barbaresco, amidst unique vineyard landscapes recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a short distance from home, you'll find restaurants and wine bars where you can savor the renowned local food and wine, as well as prominent cultural attractions such as the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Art Park, an open-air contemporary art museum (free admission), and Guarene Castle. All the main tourist attractions in the Langhe are just a few minutes' drive away. If you're an active traveler, you can also test your skills on the nearby mountain bike trails.
