Du Bourg - old town house History & Information The core of the late medieval house, is located in the historic center of Biel am Burgplatz. For many years, the monument was uninhabited and decayed increasingly, until the entire property was restored in 2018 on behalf of the new homeowner by the architect Guido Kummer and partners. On the ground floor and on the first floor there is a new tenant, the time-honored restaurant Du Bourg. The second and third floors, formerly used as living spaces, now house two rental apartments.
