Home in Seljord

Nice holiday home with plenty of space and a lovely view. The space The house is located on the mountainside in Flatdal in Seljord municipality and thus has a great view over the valley and towards Skorvefjell. The house is located on a small farm, where both sheep and cows graze on the land around the house in summer. There are many hiking possibilities in summer and winter. In summer, you will find opportunities for cycling in connection with the Adventure Road around Nutheim. There are many nice hikes with spectacular views both over Flatdal (Bindingsnuten) and Seljord (Skorve). The proximity to Nutheim Guesthouse, known as the artist hotel in Telemark, provides the opportunity for a delicious meal after the trip. In the surrounding area there are also prepared ski slopes in winter. In Flatdal there is a nice little beach with access to shower and toilet. In the center there is also a shop with a good selection. - 15 min drive away you will find Eva Bull Holte's museum in Åmotsdal. An art exhibition open during summer with food service. In Åmotsdal there is also a great swimming area with a water trampoline. In Åmotsdal you will also find a small ski lift with a warm room and a small kiosk. - 10 min drive away you will find Seljord city center. Seljord is known for many festivals during the summer season and Dyrskun in the autumn. Around the Seljord lake there are many campsites. Here are nice swimming spots and several of the campsites have either a kiosk or other food service. In Seljord there are many nice top tours or you can go to the Sjøormtårnet and look over the Seljord lake. - 30 min drive away is Bø in Telemark. Here you will find the waterpark Sommarland and the climbing park Høyt & Lavt. - 45 min drive to Rauland and ski resort - 45 min drive to Vrådal and ski resort - 1.5 hours to Gaustablikk Resort The place: The house is over two floors. On the first floor we have a storage room, a bedroom with a bunk bed (lower bunk is 120 cm wide, upper bunk 90 cm), a living room with a bed (this does not have full length), a bathroom with toilet and sink, a laundry room. On the second floor we have a bedroom with a single bed, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with sink and shower, a toilet, a living room and a kitchen that is fully equipped. The house has a covered porch with a view. What's included? Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided according to the number of people who have booked. In relation to cleaning, we do not charge a cleaning fee as Airbnb's basic rules/the community's guidelines say this about cleaning: "Guests should not leave the rental in a condition that requires excessive or thorough cleaning (moldy plates, dirty carpets, pet stains, etc.). Cleaning fees set by hosts are only meant to cover the cost of standard cleaning between reservations (laundry, vacuuming, etc.)." As long as this is kept, we do not charge any extra costs for the cleaning. Guest access You will have access to the whole house and the surrounding garden.
