The space A Small Retreat in Harmony with Nature Guest House Pin is a small private guesthouse for one group per day, located on the grounds of the mountain shared residence, Shared Residence Flag. Originally a traditional barn, it has been lovingly renovated while preserving the warmth of natural wood and earth. Rather than a hotel with complete privacy, Guest House PIN offers a chance to experience the peaceful rhythm of rural Japan, with the gentle presence of everyday life and occasional interaction. Wake to birdsong, fall asleep to the sounds of insects, and relax away from the noise of daily life. Enjoy activities such as a campfire or private sauna while connecting with nature. --- 🏡 Accommodation Rates - ¥29,800/night (up to 2 guests) - Peak season rates apply. - Additional guests: +¥7,700/person (maximum 4 guests) Up to 4 guests can stay, but the space may feel compact for 4 adults. We recommend 2–3 guests for a more comfortable stay. - Children (elementary school age and under): ¥5,400/night - Infants sharing existing beds: Free (please mention them when booking) Airbnb may not automatically apply child rates. If needed, we'll send a price adjustment after booking. Check-in / Check-out - Check-in: 3:00–8:00 PM - Check-out: by 10:00 AM - Please contact us in advance if arriving after 8:00 PM. Pets - Pets welcome (+¥2,400/pet) Pets are allowed outdoors and in the entrance area only. They are not permitted in the bedroom. Please bring your own crate, bed, bowls, toilet supplies, and waste bags. Pets must stay in a crate whenever unattended or during the night. --- 🧴 Amenities - 2 beds + 2 futons (up to 4 guests) - Free Wi-Fi, air conditioner, refrigerator, electric kettle - Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, facial cleanser, hand soap - Towels, linens, hair dryer, slippers, hangers - Free parking (about 15 cars) The private shower room, washroom, and toilet are in a separate building. Sandals and umbrellas are provided for your convenience. Guest access In addition to the private guesthouse accommodation, guests are also welcome to use the kitchen and dining area in the shared house. ☆ Please note that the kitchen is currently shared. We are planning to complete a dedicated outdoor kitchen for guests sometime in 2026. The kitchen is equipped with standard appliances and cooking utensils, so guests are welcome to cook their own meals. ※ Please bring your own food and seasonings. For safety and hygiene reasons, cooking is not allowed inside the guest rooms. Please use the kitchen when preparing meals. There is a shared house on the property where residents and volunteer staff live. We kindly ask guests to be considerate so that everyone can enjoy the space comfortably—for example, greeting each other when you meet and keeping noise down at night. 🐈 There is a cat in the shared house. Guests with cat allergies should take this into consideration. During your stay There are residents and volunteers living in the shared house, and local community members may also gather from time to time. Some evenings are spent chatting around a bonfire, while others are quiet and peaceful. Please enjoy your stay at your own pace. A cold bath and outdoor cooling-down area are also available, so you can relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the mountains. ・Price: ¥9,500 per session ・Same-day request: ¥11,900 ・Available until around 10:00 p.m. ※Same-day requests may not always be available depending on staff availability. Thank you for your understanding. ★Please note that there is no shower facility in the sauna area. If you would like to take a shower after using the sauna, we will guide you to the guest shower room. We hope you enjoy a calm and relaxing time surrounded by nature. 〇 BBQ Set Rental We provide charcoal, a Weber grill, BBQ tools, chairs, a table, and tableware. Please bring your own food. ・Price: ¥7,200 for up to 4 guests ※Please finish BBQ and bonfire use by around 10:00 p.m. 〇 Fire Disc / Bonfire Pit Rental Enjoy a quiet evening in the mountain village while sitting around the fire. ・Price: ¥2,400 per session, including 1 bundle of firewood ・Location: Designated bonfire area only ※Additional firewood is available on site for ¥1,000 per bundle. ※Please handle fire with care and make sure the fire is completely extinguished after use. 🔸 House Rules & Important Notes ・Our place is best suited for guests who would like to enjoy a peaceful stay and the quiet atmosphere of the countryside. Parties, loud drinking, loud music, and similar activities are not permitted. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 p.m., including outdoors. ・There are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby. We recommend preparing food and other necessities before arrival. ・Smoking is not allowed inside the building. For guest rooms, smoking is permitted only on the deck space. ・For safety and hygiene reasons, cooking inside the guest room is not allowed. Please use the kitchen when cooking. ・Use of some facilities may be restricted depending on the weather. 🔸 Access After leaving the main road, the route becomes a mountain road. Some parts are narrow, and there are sections with rough road surfaces. It can be difficult to find the way after dark, so we recommend arriving while it is still light outside. ★In winter, the road surface may freeze due to low temperatures. As our accommodation is located in the mountains, we recommend coming with winter tires or other suitable equipment during the winter season.
