This is a small guest house limited to one group per day, where you can experience everyday life in the mountains. The property is located within a shared residence, so you may notice the presence of residents and international volunteers. However, the guest room itself is quiet, allowing you to relax and enjoy a calm stay surrounded by nature. The space Once a former barn, the building has been carefully renovated using natural materials such as wood and earth, preserving their original warmth and character. This is not a hotel with full convenience or complete privacy. Instead, we offer the chance to enjoy the slower rhythm of rural life, the atmosphere of the satoyama countryside, and gentle, natural interactions that arise from sharing the place. Wake up to birdsong, fall asleep to the sounds of insects, and unwind from daily life. Through activities such as bonfires and sauna experiences, we hope you will feel a deeper connection to nature and to people. Guest access Guests have access to the private guest house as well as the shared kitchen and dining area of the shared residence. ★ The kitchen is currently shared. From spring 2026, a guest-only outdoor kitchen is planned to be available. The kitchen is equipped with basic appliances and cooking utensils, so self-catering is possible. Please bring your own ingredients and seasonings. For safety and hygiene reasons, cooking inside the guest room is not allowed. Please use the kitchen when preparing meals. There is a shared residence on the property where residents and volunteer staff live. We kindly ask guests to be considerate and greet each other so that everyone can use the space comfortably. 🐈 There is a cat living in the shared house. Other things to note 🔸 Experience Options (Advance Reservation Required) ・Private Tent Sauna (Exclusive Use) A quiet sauna heated with firewood. You can also enjoy a cold plunge and relaxing outdoor air bath. Price: ¥8,300 per session (¥10,500 if added on the day) Available until 9:00 PM Same-day requests may not be accepted depending on staff availability. Thank you for your understanding. ★ There are no shower facilities in the sauna area. If you wish to take a shower after using the sauna, we will guide you to the guest-only shower room. Please be aware of this in advance and enjoy a peaceful time surrounded by nature. ・BBQ Set Rental We provide charcoal, a Weber grill, cooking tools, chairs, tables, and tableware. (Ingredients are not included.) Price: ¥6,500 (up to 4 guests) Please finish bonfires and BBQ by around 10:00 PM. ・Fire Pit (Bonfire) Rental Enjoy a quiet evening around the fire in the mountain village. Price: ¥1,100 per use (Firewood sold separately: ¥1,100 per bundle) Location: Designated fire pit area ★ Please handle fire with care and make sure it is completely extinguished after use. 🔸 House Rules & Important Notes ・We value a calm atmosphere and time spent in nature. Parties, loud drinking gatherings, and loud music are not allowed. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM, including outdoor areas. ・There are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby. We recommend preparing your supplies in advance. ・Smoking is not allowed inside the building. Smoking is permitted only on the deck area of the guest room. ・For safety and hygiene reasons, cooking inside the guest room is not allowed. Please use the kitchen for meal preparation. ・Facility use may be restricted depending on weather conditions. 🔸 Access Information Access to the property requires traveling on mountain roads after leaving the main highway. Some sections are narrow and the road surface may be uneven. At night, visibility can be limited, so we strongly recommend arriving during daylight hours, especially for first-time visitors. During winter, temperatures can drop and roads may become icy. As the property is located in the mountains, winter tires are recommended. Please make your reservation with an understanding of these conditions. Traveling by car is strongly recommended. It is possible to reach the area by public transportation, but services are very limited and require multiple transfers. Please note that **local bus services do not operate on Sundays**. Taxi access is available but can be quite expensive due to the distance.
