Sea views from every room, the beach directly across a quiet private road and a stillness that is genuinely hard to find anywhere else. After dark, the skies are extraordinary. Inside, the generous living room is arranged entirely around the view, with French doors opening onto a private balcony where the table and chairs exist for exactly one purpose: sitting and watching the waves.  Three bedrooms sleep six comfortably:   A king ensuite with its own sea view reading nook, an Austrian double with a beautiful bay window, and a bunk room ideal for children or relaxed third guests. Deck chairs and beach towels are in the hallway, ready to go. Outside, in addition to that beach, the estate delivers on every front. Golfers are spoilt for choice as The Dunes' neighbours includes Royal St George's, host of The Open Championship,  Prince's Golf Club and Royal Cinque Ports.  Walkers will love the flat coastal path into Deal. Birdwatchers have a whole nature reserve to explore and nature lovers will enjoy the prospect of a resident seal sighting.  For those who simply want to slow down, the near-empty beach with The Dunes directly behind is more than enough.   For dinners out, Sandwich town is seven minutes by car and Deal ten minutes. The Dunes suits families, golf groups, walkers, wildlife lovers and anyone in search of something genuinely special.   All you need to bring is the decision to slow down. Royal St George's Golf Club sits on the estate boundary. Prince's Golf Club is adjacent. The beach stretches for miles in both directions with sand flats at low tide and dunes behind. Sandwich town is seven minutes by car full of medieval streets, and lovely eateries. Deal is ten minutes with an award winning high street. All Foreland Cottage’s properties come with linens, bath towels, shower gel, hand wash, washing up liquid, sponges and that first tea/coffee /sugar as standard. The Dunes living areas spreads across a very generous 1 storey floor plan. Please note stairs from ground floor entrance. The Dunes is a quiet location: The main entrance to The Dunes is accessed only by three apartments, all used as private holiday homes.  The Dunes has direct access to Sandwich Bay. Two deck chairs and beach towels are provided. If you need a beach umbrella or other beach items, do not hesitate to contact us. Additional beach towels are available for hire. During hot weather, The Dunes offers fans as standard. The Dunes is located on a private estate. We will ask for your car registration to enable us to supply this to security, meaning guests to The Dunes do not pay the private toll. Guests are welcome to use the tennis court (Don't forget your racket). The Dunes is suitable for children. Cot beds are available to hire - Travel cots come with the manufacturers mattress only and no bedding to align with baby safety standards. High chairs are not available at The Dunes.
