The space Urbanites will find a good mixture of high street and independent shops, as well as cafes, little pubs and restaurants 3 miles away in Penrith. Thrill seekers will find a world of opportunities in the Lake District's adventure capital Keswick, less than 20 miles away. With an extensive selection of outdoor activity companies based around here, find ghyll scrambling, mountain biking, indoor climbing, various water sports, and miles of walking in the fells.
