Description

Welcome to Grandma’s Farm — my grandmother’s restored heritage home blending Australian Georgian charm with French & Italian elegance. Filled with vintage European antiques, soft Sheridan linens, fresh duck eggs, and blooming gardens, it’s a soulful retreat for weddings, family escapes, or friend getaways. Relax on the deck with rolling hill views and enjoy peaceful country living just steps from Dungog town. The space Step into a European-inspired farmhouse in the township of Dungog — just a 10-minute walk from the main street, cafés, and local charm. Filled with antiques from France, art from Italy, and the warmth of country living, this home has been designed with beauty, comfort, and celebration in mind. It’s the perfect place to gather with loved ones, prepare for a wedding, or simply slow down and enjoy the countryside. The Space This light-filled farmhouse has been thoughtfully restored and styled with designer furniture, vintage treasures, and original art. Every detail has been chosen to create a home that feels timeless, welcoming, and photogenic — ideal for wedding mornings, long weekends, or family escapes. Inside you’ll find: Three bedrooms — comfortable beds with fresh linen, art-filled walls, and thoughtful touches. Open living & dining areas — with a central island designed for hosting magical moments with friends. Fully equipped kitchen — perfect for shared meals, with designer finishes and everything you need. Bathroom(s) — featuring natural marble floors for a truly European touch, fresh Sheridan towels, and considered details throughout. Dedicated getting-ready spaces — perfect for weddings, styled for beauty and light, offering stunning backdrops for photographs. Outside you’ll enjoy: Large open-air deck — one of the most magical parts of the house, overlooking rolling hills. Watch the sun disappear and the fairy-floss pink sky melt into twinkling stars as you gather with loved ones. Established gardens — inspired by my grandmother Betty, with seasonal blooms and greenery that make the outdoors just as special as the inside. Local Highlights Just a short 10-minute walk takes you to Dungog’s main street, where you’ll find a mix of local favourites and country charm: Tin Shed Brewery — a relaxed local spot for craft beers and casual afternoons. Cafés & whole food stores — perfect for slow breakfasts, good coffee, and fresh produce. Welcoming pubs — classic country hospitality and hearty meals. Art shops & boutiques — discover local makers, unique pieces, and creative finds. Bike hire & mountain biking — Dungog is well-known for its trails, and you can hire bikes in town for a day of adventure. And just a short drive away, you’ll find some of the region’s best swimming holes, rivers, and hiking trails — perfect for cooling off in summer or exploring the stunning countryside year-round. Guest access Guest Access Guests have full access to the entire farmhouse and gardens during their stay.
