With seven bedrooms, the property, set within the grounds of the owner’s home but still enjoying its privacy, could be ideal for an extended family break or celebratory getaway. The space Step inside and find yourselves in the snug, where you can stoke up the wood burner and settle down in front of the Smart TV. Alternatively, wander through to the lounge to light the open fire and find a film on the Smart TV. Head through to the generous kitchen/diner to make everyone a cup of tea or perhaps roast supper in the AGA. Find you have a pantry for your provisions. Set the table in the splendid dining hall and sit down to a grand feast together. Also at ground-floor level, is a twin bedroom that can be arranged as a super-king-size if discussed in advance, plus a family wet room. Climb the stairs to choose between four king-size bedrooms, two with en-suite shower rooms, and one double and one bunk bedroom that share a Jack and Jill bathroom. There is also a family bathroom. Spill out into the garden on fine days: light the BBQ and soak up the scenery. Discover an outside laundry room, with space for cycles. There is parking at the house for six cars. From here, enjoy days out by the lake at Loweswater (3 miles), Crummock Water (5 miles), and Derwentwater, 14 miles from the country house. Drive 6.5 miles to Low Moresby to pick up the Cumbria Coastal Way.
