Paradise houseboat La Péniche is moored on the jetty of the Rieth natural harbor on the very outer berth. We have designed the boat so that you have incredible views of the sea from all large windows and terraces and experience fabulous sunsets at the lagoon. You will love the design of the decor. After a walk into your boat sauna, the cooling in the lagoon and with a glass of wine on the sun deck, you won't want to leave the boat. You can book one of the two houseboats after internal availability here. The decor of the houseboat may differ from the photos but the style is always the same. ------------ The key of the house is deposited next to the front door in the key box. Upon departure, we ask you to leave it there again. The code will be sent before arrival. We have additional services that you are welcome to use. There are: wine from the wine rack in your house and bathrobe use. We will provide you with a price list where you enter the things you use. We will send you these costs via Airbnb after departure. Guest access A houseboat vacation is always an exceptional summer vacation. You will experience the most beautiful sunsets at the lagoon, but also be exposed to storm or rain. Since this is a boat, you shouldn't mind the movements on the water. Relax with long walks on the water or in the adjacent pine forest. You are welcome to use our rowing boats in our natural harbour, which is only 600m away. How about a rowing boat tour into the most beautiful sunset on the Baltic Sea? The fishing village of Rieth with its 148 inhabitants is a very special gem on the Szczecin Lagoon. Even when you drive into the village, you will be welcomed by pre-Pomeranian brick and half-timbered houses as well as well-kept farm gardens. Soothing to know that you have to drive back the only road that leads to the place. There is no through traffic. Arriving at Dorfanger (Herrengarten) with its ancient chestnuts, you will see the former "Gasthof zum Blauen See", whose exterior has not changed for 150 years and is now a holiday home. Vis à vis is located in the former small syringe house, the smallest museum in Germany, the Riether Heimatstube with exhibits from the Szczecin Lagoon and the Baltic Sea. If you drive further into the village, you pass the former village school, half-timbered church, former forestery and a few meters further the castle Rieth. Then you can reach the natural harbor by sailing and fishing boats, gates, nets. From here, take the boat across the lagoon to the Baltic Sea. Now it is only a few meters to the beach. The forest bathing area is particularly ideal for children, as the water here only gradually becomes deeper. The wide view across the bay to the lagoon is often interrupted by the drawing of sea eagle pairs. The call of the cranes from the surrounding meadows proclaims an intact nature that is rarely found. In terms of cuisine, Rieth offers a small vegetarian restaurant in the Gesundhaus Klatschmohn and a café with homemade cakes. In summer, the saxophone-playing fisherman organizes a smoking evening every Friday evening right on the water. With him you can immediately agree which fish he should prepare for you for the next few days when you light the grill. But also the region has so much to offer. The Riether Winkel and the entire Szczecin Lagoon lie in the middle of the "Szczecin Lagoon Nature Park". Here you can take the most beautiful cycling and hiking tours "Around Lake Neuwarper See". The rental bike is delivered directly to your holiday home. A cutter drives you across the lagoon and you can discover the island of Usedom on the horizon. How about a cooking class or vegetarian spreads and fresh bread in the Gesundhaus Klatschmohn, a horseback ride in the Fennhof Ludwigsburg or a ride to the many small and original beaches from Altwarp to Ueckermünde. These can also be reached via a cycle path if you do not want to move the car. The region of Riether Winkel and the entire Szczecin Lagoon offers you a dream vacation in the still untouched landscape between forest and water. Other things to note The best way to reach Rieth is by car (rental car). The nearest train station is in Eggesin. From here you can reach Rieth by taxi for about 15.- to 20.-. Please note, if you arrive by train: there is no grocery store in the village. These would have to be ordered online in advance, e.g. at mytime or before starting the taxi ride.
