Maolbhuidhe B&B: close to Iona

Maolbhuidhe Bed and Breakfast offers traditional hospitality and accommodation with modern facilities. Private sitting-room, Free parking, Free superfast WifI. The space Maolbhuidhe (pronounced 'mull-voo-ee') is a former croft house, standing in the centre of 24 acres of croft land on a side road about a mile from the village of Fionnphort (Iona Ferry). We have panoramic views in all directions including Iona, the Treshnish Isles and Ben More. Guest access All guest accommodation is on the ground floor. You have exclusive access to a bedroom, sitting-room and shower-room. Breakfast is served in our farmhouse style kitchen-diningroom. Exclusive guest entry from the car park is via the Front Door into the porch. During your stay We live upstairs and are normally available during the day and early evening to provide help when needed. Other things to note The house stands within croft (farm) land that is not in our ownership. Guests must be prepared to open and close gates (leaving them as found). Please not we are a traditional bed and breakfast. Breakfast is included in the price. We do not offer self-catering facilities. There is a kettle in the bedroom for hot drinks. You may put food items in our fridge (limited capacity) If you purchase take-away food locally you can reheat it in our micro-wave (please ask). We will also provise plates and cutlery..
