The villa is located in the area of Akrotiri - Otzia and is about 8 minutes by car from the port of the island, 3 minutes from the beach of Otzia and 5 minutes from the picturesque Marina of Vourkari, with its cafes, taverans and bars. The villa is 160sq meters and is part of a small complex of 4 villas in total, each one completely independent, private and with its own swimming pool. The villa has a main house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, there are also 2 guests houses with bathrooms. The space Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are three to four ferry boats going to and from the island every day. As there are few hotels on the island, mostly private homes are rented out in the summer months. Most of theses home are made from local stone, giving Kea its unique architectural style. The island is known as the "hidden gem" in the Cycladic Islands, as it has kept its natural charm and is ideal for families or those that are looking for a relaxing holiday. Surrounding the villa is a large terrace with a sweet water swimming pool, a large shaded seating area with a large built-in sofa from where one can sit and enjoy the sea view. Near the seating area is a large shaded dining and a stone built BBQ. At the far end of the terrace is a second shaded dining area, which is protected from the northerly winds, which sometimes occur in August. Description: The ground floor of the villa has a living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen a bedroom and a bathroom. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Near the main house there is a guest house with a bedroom and a bathroom. To the side of the main main house there are steps leading down to a second guest house with a bedroom and a bathroom. Amenities: Internet, 32" TV in the living room, 2nd TV in one of the guest houses, cable TV, DVD player, stereo, air-conditioning in 4 bedrooms, ceiling fans in the guest houses, mosquito blinds, stone BBQ (not to used in high winds), Gas BBQ, refrigerator and freezer, oven, hobs, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, filter coffee machine, Espresso machine, toaster, multi blender, iron and board, linen and towels, cooking utensils, pool towels, pool shower, baby cot, fire extinguisher, first aid kit,hairdryer, electric heating panels, indoor dining (kitchen) for 4, one outdoor dining table for 6 people, second outdoor dining table for 8 to 10 people, 6 sunbeds, 1 umbrella, parking for 3 to 4 cars. Facilities: Three bedrooms with queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers, one bedroom with bunk beds (for children) and a bathroom with a shower. House Rules: No smoking allowed in the house, pets considered (only small dogs), no parties or events allowed. Guests are kindly requested to respect "quiet time" from 2.30pm to to 5.30pm and after 11.30 at night. Children should be supervised around the pool area. All rubbish is to removed from the premises before check out. If guests wish I can book their ferry boat tickets for them, help find a car or scooter to rent. Suggest restaurants,supermarkets, cafes and bars. I can also help them rent a boat (with a skipper) to go round the island. I can also help them arrange to go scuba diving if they wish.
