The space On the 2nd floor of an old, renovated farmhouse from the 19th century, our new oasis of well-being with many amenities was created. We have renovated and designed it as if we wanted to live in it ourselves, with a lot of attention to detail and seasonally redecorated. Our large daylight bathroom invites you to relax, take a wonderful relaxing bath and look at the stars. Our apartment has all the amenities, even for a longer stay, with children. Depending on the needs, they can sleep in the parents' bedroom on their own sofa bed, in the crib or, from an age appropriate to the parents' wishes, in their cozy corner in the living room. Various play materials, books, a swing, fitness equipment, bath toys, it is all there by arrangement. A children's travel bed (height-adjustable and with changing mat) is also available if required. We have designed our living room so that fitness (if necessary) is not neglected. Various dumbbells, 1 cross trainer, 1 rowing machine, 1 exercise bike with expanders are waiting for you. Relaxing is possible in the living room on 2 couches and you can rock and/or relax to your heart's content in the large bean bag. The open living room concept combines cooking with entertainment options and eating together in the cozy dining area. Our high-quality kitchen has full equipment including dishwasher, coffee maker, mini oven, oven with convection/grill function at a comfortable, back-friendly working height, stove, range hood, fridge with freezer compartments. If you have different TV tastes - no problem: the living room and the bedroom each have their own TV. Would you like a good night's sleep? This is ensured by blackout blinds and air conditioning in summer. Speaking of summer: If you want to enjoy extensive barbecues in a fantastic altitude: You can use our pool in our external garden in the adjacent district of Salmrohr - go ahead! We like to pamper our guests and have already spent wonderful evenings with them in our own wine stand. My husband then turns the roast on the spit while you relax in the pool or relax in a swing, hammock or relaxing lounger by the mini pond and let your soul enjoy, just switch off. The maximum occupancy is 4 people, with 1 sofa bed in the bedroom 1.40 wide and therefore more suitable for 2 children. The additional sofa bed in the living room is equipped with a topper if necessary and results in a sleeping area of 1.60 × 2.00 m. The double bed in the bedroom is also equipped with a topper and measures 1.80 × 2.20. About the surroundings: Great, rippling streams, many beautiful hiking and biking trails, secluded forests are in the immediate vicinity of and around the place. Several cafés, bakeries, shopping, the train station, soccer and playgrounds, a climbing wall make Salmtal lovable. A great hiking and cycling environment awaits you and we will be happy to give you suitable excursion tips. Trier, an incredibly beautiful, venerable city, is only 25 minutes by car, Koblenz 50 minutes, Luxembourg border 30 minutes. Saarland can be reached in 30 minutes, France in 1 hour. Not far from Salmtal are several maars, the well-known wine-growing areas on the Moselle, such as Lieser, Bernkastel-Kues, Traben-Trarbach, Kröv (known for the wine "Kröver Nacktarsch"). The Volcano Museum, the Devil's Gorge, the Dino Park, the Eifelpark Gondorf, the Eifelzoo in Lünebach, the only Glauber salt spa in Bad Bertrich, the Manderscheider castles, the picturesque town of Prüm, the Geysier in Andernach, the beer brewery town of Bitburg are just a few notable destinations.
