The "Raventale Retreat" is a fully self-contained, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, single-level home with 11 foot ceilings and over 1500 sqft of living space. Come experience & enjoy a peaceful pet friendly space, with gourmet kitchen, heated floors and private garden patio. Drink in the scenic views of Fanny Bay and the Beaufort Mountains all from your warm, private tranquil suite in the prestigious Ships Point in Fanny Bay BC. The space Raventale Retreat is a beautiful rancher-style suite on our 2 acre property. It has its own formal front entry, to a quiet and private home. Enjoy the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, heated floors and open space. A private patio is yours, to enjoy coffee in the morning, and sunset in the evening. The path to a beach walk is a short distance from our driveway and, within a 5-10 min drive, you can be ordering local oysters at the world famous "FBI" - Fanny Bay Inn pub, or boarding the cable ferry to Denman Island and then on to Hornby Island. Whether you love exploring nature, small towns, wineries, distilleries & craft breweries, or you’re a foodie looking to sample some of the flavours of BC seafood, or organic farm items from cheese and cured meats, to mead, Raventale Retreat offers easy access to all these experiences. For the outdoor lovers, Mt Washington Ski resort is within a 45 min drive, and everything you would like to discover from sport fishing, sailing, kayaking, beachcombing and wildlife watching, to a day at the local spa enjoying a "Hydrowalk", is all at your fingertips. Guest access Your space is separate, private and self-contained. It’s just a short walk from the parking area through the garden path to your front door. There is a large patio for you to enjoy, and if you like to play garden games such as bocci, (or croquet..??) there is a great space for you to do so on the south east lawn. Open and easy for yoga and quiet reflection, or frisbee, badminton or a joyous game of tag! Other things to note We have a full security system, exterior security cameras. We are on septic on the property so our system is delicate, no foreign objects please. We have Air Conditioning and Ceiling fans,We also provide you with recycling bins for glass, tin, cans and paper as well as composting for organic items. The suite is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath 1 bath with shower only 1 with a tub and shower. NON SMOKING IN AND OUT. IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH PETS, please contact us if you have any questions regarding our $50.00 additional per pet fee/cleaning details and requirements. All pets need to be on leash while at Raventale Retreat, as we have many types of raptors such as Bald Eagles, Hawks and…yes…Ravens. There are also larger animals that your 4-legged family member(s) may feel inclined to chase: Rabbits, Deer, Otters, Racoons and Mink. Please remember that these are wild animals.
