Located at the top of Alta Vista, this hacienda style studio awaits. Located just below Casa Madina with a private entrance, kitchenette, large bathroom and closet. Renovated in Fall 2020; Located at the top of Alta Vista, walking distance to restaurants, shops, bars & beaches in Old Town (5-20 walk to almost everything). Relax in the soaking pool or on the rooftop terrace and deck with a spectacular view of the ocean & city - perfect for morning coffee or watching to evening roll in. The space Casa Madina was just remodeled, including a new covered rooftop deck, that takes the view from beautiful to stunning. From the new deck, you see all of Old Town and Centro, including the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Great for the catching the nightly fireworks, or city lights or the beautiful Banderas Bay. A cozy studio in Alta Vista is yours to enjoy in this traditional styled home. Private entrance, well appointed kitchenette, large bathroom with open shower and closet with shelves and hangers. The main room has a queen sized bed, a loveseat seating area and a table with 2 chairs for dining or catching up on emails. At the end of the day, head up to the rooftop terrace and solar heated soaking pool (shared with guests of Casa Madina). With fabulous views of the bay and the Zona Romantica, you can dine outside, enjoy a drink or relax in the pool. The pool is a soaking pool (~2m x 4m) and solar heated. It's very refreshing after a long hot day in Puerto Vallarta. There is also a shower on the roof for rinsing off before getting in the pool. There are several cats in the neighborhood who love to roam on the rooftops, including ours. They (and the dogs and chickens you will see around the neighborhood) are pets belonging to our neighbors. Please don't feed any of the animals or let them in the house, but also you don't need to scare them or chase them away. Please note the house is a the top of a hill (hence the great views), up 3 streets from the Old Town area and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Also, please note that Puerto Vallarta is a very popular city now and there is construction going on all over the Old Town area. There may be construction noise during the day while staying at the house. Guest access All guests (Casa and Casita) will have access to the rooftop terrace, Rooftop Pool and deck. The views of the bay and the Zona Romantica are very relaxing. Other things to note First-timers to Puerto Vallarta come for the sun, sea and fun, but soon discover the fantastic restaurants and friendly locals that keep them coming back. The Malecón is Puerto Vallarta's beautiful boardwalk and covers nearly two miles along the beach. Surrounded by different bars, nightclubs and restaurants the Malecón is lined by large bronze sculptures from many talented local artists. Dining: From fresh, street corner taco stands, to exquisite high-end meals, Puerto Vallarta has it all. You can dine overlooking the city and the bay or with your feet buried in the sand under a palapa. A variety of food from around Mexico to Italian, Burgers, German, ‘American’, Pizza, Asian and more can be found in Puerto Vallarta and all of it uses fresh-caught fish, fresh local vegetables and home-made tortillas and salsas! Best of all, no need to dress up – Puerto Vallarta is very casual and you can wear what makes you comfortable. Connoisseurs of fine dining are in paradise each November, during Puerto Vallarta's annual Gourmet Dining Festival, and in May every year we have the Restaurant Week(s), at the end of the month. Some nearby restaurants include Tony’s Please, Soco's Place, Los Lirios, and Memo’s Taco stand. Just a little further away, you’ll find Los Muertos Brewery, Fredy’s Tucan, Margarita Grill, Fajita Republic, Joe’s Fish Shack, La Dulce Vita. A short walk down Jacarandas, by the river is Tinotoque - one of the top 120 restaurants in Mexico! Just across the river Rio Cuale to the north are a number of other great restaurants and sites to tour. Be sure to explore around Puerto Vallarta.
